Super glitchy lately

The app has been super glitchy lately. It’s slow to load, scrolls haltingly, freezes and crashes. I like the content so I muddle through. I would be way more troubled if I were a slate-plus subscriber.
App very buggy recently

I have used the app (and been a Slate Plus member) for several years, and it’s worked fine until recently. Now, articles will not update in the app for several hours, making the app fairly useless. Right now, in the app, the last article is from about 14 hours ago. Please fix this!!!!!!!
Not Updating to Latest Stories

Since the latest update I have had issues with getting the app update to the latest stories. Leaving with the most recent stories showing from approximately 12 hours earlier. I have tried reinstalling but problem starts again a few days later.

Like Slate but the app’s performance is poor. Terrible at updating content to the point where I usually just open the site in a browser in order to avoid hours of waiting for the articles to appear in the app

The slate app icon is like a homing beacon for my curiosity. I can click it and I might get an advise column about a 76 year old divorcee that is lusting after her pool boy, or great interview with the mother of an asylum seeker that is stuck in Mexico awaiting a hearing. There is always something to learn, something to enjoy, or something to ponder. I love it!!

I love reading Slate, but the app crashes more than any other app I use.

I love Slate and have been reading it and listening to its podcasts for years, but I hate the app. It's surprisingly bad. It's particularly bad on an iPad. You can't see the entire title of articles and there's no search function. There's something wrong with the size of the font too. It's just all wrong and hard to read.
App constantly crashes

The slate app is easily the most unstable app I’ve ever used. I have the latest iPhone with the latest version of iOS and the slate app excels at one thing and that is its vigorous desire to crash. Open the app, usually it crashes. Fortune favors you and the app opens then you try to view an article.. it crashes. Stays open long enough for view and article and you attempt to scroll... it crashes. If you even look at the slate icon on your Home Screen it...
