This app has some interesting content. However, I believe there is some sort of glitch in the signup screen. I entered my email address, password, and a screen name, assuming that my screen name would be displayed when I commented on articles. Imagine my surprise when it was my email address that was displayed instead! Huh?? I sent a request for help to the suggestion link but of course I've heard nothing. And there's no one to contact about this type of problem. I'm moving on and would recommend that you do too. Disappointing....

Great content, but the app has a longstanding and very annoying problem: when the Internet link is less than perfect, it takes forever for individual stories to open, even when they've already been uploaded to the app (when you have a weak connect ion and a story takes forever to open, try triggering flight mode. Bam! The story opens instantly.)

Well, not really just a news source. In-depth analysis and of course opinion. Plenty of both-sides analysis too. And, I must say, the Political Gabfest podcast is the smartest thing I have *ever* heard, podcast or broadcast news or whatever. Cannot recommend that enough.

I have been listening to the excellent slate podcasts for years. But, for some reason, I thought other Slate content required payment, so I never tried any. But after getting tired of the hyperbole, poor editing and sloppy fact-checking of Salon and Huffington Post, I decided to give it a go. It's great. Interesting stories, well – edited, nicely done interface, it's my new favorite issues and opinions app.

I love the content but most of the time I have to open the story in my iPhone browser to see any pictures or tweets that have been quoted. Very annoying. Usually they aren't that important but occasionally they make a difference. Please fix this Slate!

The none stop ads are bad enough, the actual bugs crawling across the screen is annoying enough till I can live without reading articles on slate. Here's where we part ways...

99% of your articles are so biased to the left of the political spectrum, you are not giving your readers the opportunity to hear both sides and make up their own minds on any issue. Very disappointing to be under-serving your readers who would like to understand completely the issue at hand. Reporting and not editorializing would be the fair thing to do.
