I love being able to control my ductless mini split from my phone. The old version of the app seemed to function better. I could turn it on and set the timer to shut off in a couple hours as I needed. Now I have to hunt for the timer. The bigger problem is that the thermostat doesn’t seem to work. I may set it for 75°, but it keeps on cooling down to 67°! What’s the point of having anything other than on/off?
Good idea, base tech is there, interactive control is council at best and APP is super buggy

Have used Sensibo for years - great idea to take a relatively basic AC control and it make it ‘smarter’. Their recent products are the 2.0 evolution of concept - adding more intelligence like climate react and presence detection - making the system even ‘smarter’. But the execution on these new features is lacking - the design to make these new capabilities work is very clunky - more like programming an IFTTT set of instructions than a simple ‘I want to do this’ guided experience. The average consumer is not going to want the hassle of figuring out how to take multiple settings, put them together, and make it work. On top of that - it does not consistently work - so you can program in schedules but then they randomly disable themselves. So not only is there the confusing interface design but then you have to figure out is it your ‘program’ that is not working or their application that is not working again. Adding one more layer to the frustration is after buying the system, they try and upsell on more ‘advanced features’ that cost you more money, greater interface complexity to use, and even more frustration at the realization that the extra money you spent is a further waste as it does not actually work consistently! The product has a great technology base but time to go back to the drawing board to actually make it useful and consistent for the consumer.

It felt like a beta trial. Not ready for market. Need the remote control to pair. Room sensor didn’t connect. Will not work with my Lennox A/C. Cumbersome app.
Temperature isn’t that accurate, Needs Siri Shortcut Control for Climate React

The app is slow to check what temperature it is in the room so oftentimes the climate react is either too late and the room gets too hot, and when it turns on it is too slow and the room gets too cold. There really is no right temperature control for this because it seems to only check the temperature in slow intervals. I feel like I have to babysit my AC 90% of the time because it just isn’t fast enough to detect the real temperature of the room. Defeats the whole point of owning it for the most part! The second thing is that I really think this needs Siri shortcut control for turning climate react on or off. If I want to do a workout it is so slow and cumbersome to stop working out and use the app when I could just make a shortcut that turns the AC on for a half hour without climate react, and then set it back when I’m done. Would just be nice and sensible to have.

Was promised this would work with all air conditioners but does not work. Emailed support and CEO 2 weeks ago and still no response. Unit is only a dead weight at this point.

The app is perfect. Easy to add pods and easy to control temperature, however I expected auto mode. It access my location so I expect as per the advertising that it turn on my AC when I am near my home. ? Updated 20 August 2015 Sensibo works great with IF app. Now everything works as expected. My AC turn off whenever I leave the area that I have marked using IF recipes. I wish there was some tips in the application guiding me to you was I if recipes instead of fighting this through sensibo technical support. I giving the application five stars rating. Keep it up
Customer support is worthless

It's been three months now and the devices still won't work. They take 1-2 weeks to respond to any support request, and when they respond they only ask for more information. This has been a waste of time and money.

Probably one of the best Indiegogo campaigns I've backed. This app, connected to a pod on my a/c, allows me to make my house cooler from the road. It's simple to use, it serves great purpose and it's done beautifully.
