Gen 1 room sensor not supported in new app

Had to delete sensor and then reconnect. New app does not recognize my sensor. Bummer
App redesign broke my primary use case

I just want to use Shortcuts to turn my AC on and off. An update in the past few weeks made this significantly worse, so a shortcut created on my iPad won’t work on my phone. Also worse, running a shortcut on my iPad launches the app. I don’t want to see the app, I only want to control my AC unit. Two stars because the app technically still works, even if it is now worse.

Really like the many improvements to this app. This is also one of the most stable and reliable apps on my phone. This product and this app have both been reliable and have consistently exceeded expectations.
Can’t even change the temperature properly.

This is an expensive remote control that can’t properly control my air-con unit. All it can do properly is turn the unit on and off. When using the most basic temperate change dial it’s constantly off by 9-12 degrees vs what the unit is actually set to. When you try to set for instance to 72 it goes as low as 68 degrees then starts counting down from the hottest the unit goes (86 degrees) I am returning this junk to amazon.
iOS App needs work

I installed two Sensibo Sky units today and set them up with the iOS App. The setup was great but the app has major issues controlling the AC’s. The App will display the wrong state (on or off) and I cannot adjust the Climate React features. The App will also randomly turn on my AC units even when the ambient temperature is far below the climate react settings (managed through the website.) I requested assistance (tech support) through both the app and site yesterday morning but have not heard back at all. I am sadly disappointed in the app and functionality of these devices. I hope that the company reaches out to me and pushes out an update soon.

Had some App issues with the software and 3 new sensibo devices for my Mitsubishi mini splits, specifically the Climate React.... found a temp work around and also the developers swiftly responded to my initial 1* review. This responsiveness and willingness to work on app issues means I increased up to 3*

Please allow climate control for geo fencing to be free. I get it that the company wants to make money but at least give people that had sensibo since the beginning free subscription. Not fair to all of a sudden charge for something that was free to begin with. Ive used sensibo for 2 years now. Sensibo supposed to be about saving money, not spending more.

Seems like this app went thru a renaissance (broke everything but improved design, partial recovery of functionality but Siri Shortcuts didn’t work on locked screen and now Siri Shortcuts are fixed again). Funny that Siri still says “turned off bedroom AC AC” which is something the app did more than 2 years ago but got fixed before the recent meltdown. Looks like a new team of developers started anew. Keep up the good work guys. And now that you’ve managed to fix everything that was broken, hopefully you can fulfill an older promise: full Apple Home integration. Thanks!
