Really hard to set up then didn't work, not worth the money!

I downloaded this app on Monday, cancelled the subscription Tuesday, and now On Wednesday I'm officially deleting the app. I followed all the directions to set this up on my child's phone and after a long set up process, was incredibly disappointed to see it didn't work properly. No text messages past Sunday have appeared and I've been updating as advised on the app. I spent $15 to waste time and that's incredibly frustrating. Don't download this app, save your money, $15 is a lot to throw away.

The app provides a good way to check in on your child on a daily basis. The connection between the parent app and kid app is very clever (using iCloud backup). It allows parents to check on the kid's activity from the previous day (and beyond). The app also provides meaningful app reviews that help us parents keep our kids safe. I started using this for my 16yo son and will soon be installing on my 14yo daughters phone.

Quick UI recommendation from someone who works in tech. Disable the "lock account because of too many failed logins" feature until the first installation has completed. I'll keep working to get this installed once my account is unlocked. Families generally have many devices on the same account. Very painful to get this configured the first few times and now the account is locked. (I understand why this happens-but the feature shouldn't enable until the account is fully set up to avoid extreme frustrations for new account owners.) Few more things. You must set up an iCloud account for your child. Many people have not done this. If you don't, you will get a jumble of data from every device associated with your account. You must enable iCloud backup on the child's device. Most users will need to buy more iCloud storage because the free 5Gb isn't enough. This is an extra cost associated with this app. I worked through this over two days. I've had a full backup now for almost 24 hours and I still can't access anything from my child's phone. Unless you understand how this app interacts with the data being pulled from your child's phone this is not easy to use. It's still not working for me and I work with tech for a living. I'm going to give this another few days but at this point I'm skeptical, do not see how this will provide real time information, and do not believe that this will capture text messages that are quickly deleted. This app has no monitoring within various apps like Facebook. From what I can see, if it's working perfectly you can (1) monitor text messages and (2) control screen time. I'm not convinced that makes it worth the cost.

Kinda love this app. I don't worry about what my children are up anymore. Reading their texts is a must for me.. works great!!

Don't pay for this crap. Constant issues, will only give u current txt or logs one time. Waste of money. And the company will not email u back, what a joke....

How in the world did the price of a monthly subscription go from $15 to $30 a month?! No thanks!!!!! You can have your app for that ripoff monthly price! Good riddance!

I subscribed for a month and then canceled. Disliked: -you can only update your child’s texts and activity every 24 hours. It was easier for me to grab my daughters iPad and read her texts. She knows that her iPad is really our iPad and she knows we view all of her activities. -there were many error messages. Annoying! -it is free and more convenient to not use this apps services. We have her iPad set up with many parental controls. Works like a charm and it’s free.

To anyone thinking about purchasing this... BEWARE!!!!!!! I repeat!!! Don’t don’t do it!!!! I have sent numerous requests for a REFUND to the vendor... nothing!!! I’ve done everything that I was supposed to do! 14.99 down the drain! Now one can say” Hey if you can afford an iPhone you can afford 14.99” The reason I can afford 14.99 is because I don’t THROW MONEY AWAY!!!! I really wish that I could give this ZERO STARS but I needed to give it 1 star in order to write this review. And you don’t realize it doesn’t work until you download it! Soooo now that I “ cancelled “my subscription(what a joke)it says I’m open to accessing it until November 1st... ummm No thank you! Why would I want to access something that doesn’t WORK? I emailed you guys and you kept sending me the SAME REPLY! No what I WANT IS MY MONEY BACK THANK YOU! What happened to after 30 days your card will automatically be charged. Give the consumer a chance to see if the product works first instead of hijacking... yes hijacking their funds.... Shame on you! There is nothing “ Safe” about this app!
