Crap Service, Customer Service and customer care

No phone number to contact directly, get run in circles with their prompts with their app for billing and technical service. When you try cancelling the subscription you get run in more circles. After cancelling and expiration of subscription, I was billed for subscription and tried cancelling, I was prompted to cancel auto payment which prompted me to renew subscription. Because I cancelled previously and subscription expired I cannot access my account. There is no technical support except email and they only work during the week. If you are lucky to get a response it turns into DYI though you are paying a premium for the subscription. Even after cancelling and subscription expired they accessed my bank account. This is a huge problem. They are not transparent. K2bmaryellen

I got the app..... and realized how much control “saferkids” would have over my daughters phone and every move she made,and decided 15 mins later after getting it to delete the app and move on!! So I deleted the app and canceled my subscription right then same day!!!! Never even paired my daughters phone to the app that day..... but I find out they sure as hell charged me a NON REFUNDABLE years subscription anyway!!! So now I’m out a $140.00!!! Don’t get it!!!


Terrible app and too expensive

The app doesn’t work well at all so you can’t really use all features. I’ve been using this app for 2 years, paid in full but couldn’t use all features because of constant glitch. Don’t waste your money. I found another app that’s only $6 a month and works way better!

I was hesitant about spending so much on an app but by comparison to other apps I’ve tried this one gives me the most control and ability to see her phone and online activity. My daughter is a good kid and she has a fairly good head on her shoulders but watching her gave me confirmation that she isn’t mature enough to navigate things like social media and the internet unsupervised. Ive surrendered to the fact she needs her own phone but everything else that is available can be dangerous and this app gives me the ability to keep her safe

This app worked great at first. Then gradually over time I began getting fewer and fewer texts from my child’s phone, then the app monitoring and parent superpowers areas began to quit working regularly. I’d have to keep getting my child’s phone and resetting everything, only to discover, in the end, that she had been able to download snap chat and instagram MONTHS prior and I got zero alerts from the saferkid app nor did it show up on the “apps of concern” section of the saferkid app. I contacted the company several times about the lack of text monitoring I was able to do from the app and they could never a come up with a solid solution. Yet I was charged $15/month for monitoring services I was not getting for MONTHS!


Customer Service Is HORRIBLE!

I downloaded the app unaware that for iPhone users nothing is in real time and it takes 12 hours after installation to be ready for use. I emailed customer support as they don’t have a call in number and Ian was so rude and nasty I tried to post our conversation for all to see but couldn’t not only did he say I was “pretending” to have concerns about the real time issue he also stated that he took a huge pay cut to work there! He was the worst! I asked to speak with a manager several times. Parents you can route you child’s calls and text to hangout and monitor things that way for free don’t waste your money customer service will treat you like crap and don’t appreciate your business! I’ve still not heard back from a manager after three requests. I will make it my business to write reviews and tell people how horrible my experience was! My daughter made changes to her contact list three days ago and I’ve yet to see them on my end and for iPhone users you cannot monitor call history. Ian did say they could do a reduced fee because I wasn’t receiving all of the services Android users received but he said “I had to readjust and ask my question again in a more appropriate tone”. ? this conversation took place via email again that’s the only way to contact support and if your having a issue after hours your on your own. Save your money use hangout instead it’s free, they have a call in number where you can speak to someone, and you won’t be disrespected by customer service! iPhone users when I say not in real time that means when you open the app it checks for new content then a request is made to Apple to pull new information and that gets pushed into the app ? like I stated before my daughter made a change and I’ve yet to see it on my end lol
