Changing policies without providing reason
ridiculous conversion fees
For the last 5 days I have been working with support staff because I have been encountering problems topping up via Apple Pay. Receiving an error message that payment was not successful then a further error message encouraging me to add funds in another manner (via credit card or via bank transfer). I have used Revolut for over a year. And it was helpful during the pandemic to pay rent etc. My understanding is that there was a $250 daily limit (every 24 hours) to add funds via Apple Pay. This worked great for me. No complaints. I have not reached such limits this month or these past few days, nor have I received notice of any change in policies. I pressed and pressed with support staff this morning — “I cannot share more information due to internal standards” — so policy has changed and I can no longer use Revolut as I was using it for almost a year. Is there a lifetime limit for adding via Apple Pay? Is there a monthly limit for adding funds using Apple Pay? I don’t know, the staff won’t answer my questions. Instead I received this as a response: “You should try next month and see at what point it no longer permits you to add funds.” — that doesn’t help, I have to pay rent THIS month. The only solution is to find another banking solution.

This app is horrible, my credit card came in yesterday. I deleted the app by mistake and now I have to wait for a new card.

This has so many bugs, the app isn’t running properly. They can’t verify who you are in a timely fashion so you have no access to your money. Customer service is almost never able to help & they expect you to be okay with not having access to your money.
Terrible platform to match horrid customer service

I initiated a transfer to start my Revolut account. Over 12 business days later it continues to show as pending. My money is hostage. I don’t know if or when it will ever withdraw from my connected account. Support is non-existent. 5 business days after initial outreach there are no updates or answers to my case. If money is important to you, don’t use Revolut.

My account is being reviewed for some transaction and it has now taken a month and a half. The chats are full of stupid robot answers to questions and they don’t have the decency to get in touch and tell me what they need.I have another Revolut account for business and they can’t even cross check that I am taking my salary from there. They may be good at building a business but they are horrible at customer service

I have no idea how this application maintain high rating. Probably paid reviews. Main problem is they’re trying to handle everything with AI, but their data scientists or developers are not that good. Everything is broken - stupid limitations here and there. Support is absolutely trash! No phone support or physical location or any other option except the chat inside the app if you can even find it)

Hi I am trying since 1 months to set up a link between my accounts in USA where I am currently living and overseas i.e. Romania, Spain and or UK which are all my accounts. I was told that I cannot transfer from my Euro account in Spain in US, than my question is who need this kind of service and headache ? Dan
