One star for notification spam

Revolut abuses the notification system, using it to issue marketing SPAM, hence this one-star review. Particularly distressing to see this from a financial services app. Now I have to turn off notifications, making the app less useful.
Every new version is less intuitive

I am happy with the service. But I miss Revolut early apps. So hard to find things in the new versions. Fire the UX consultants, please!
Stole my money

I’ve cancelled my shares purchase order and the app said it was cancelled. Next day I open my account and I see that the order went through even though I cancelled it. The support took 7 days to look into this mystery and concluded that there was “technical glitch”. Tough luck, but why do I have to pay for your technical incompetence?

Update! Impossible to close your account! Your service is awful. Nothing is in my account, just close it! Revolut is not ready for US market! I was almost late with my car payment. Even though the routing number/account are correct vendors couldn’t draw money out. This happened a few times. CarMax shouldn’t be a threat. I’m pulling my money out. Fingers crossed Revolut let’s me. The service has been so inconsistent that at this point it’s not worth me trusting Revolut with my banking. I joined too soon. Hopefully they figure out business in the USA and hire agents who understand basic banking terms.

I recently switched phones and once I tried to log back to my account, my PIN won’t work and my Revolut cards were erased from ApplePay once I tried to re-establish them in the new phone. I tried to change my PIN then, and surprise, there’s absolutely no way to do that from the app or the website (even though the help section on the website claims you can do so). Revolut doesn’t have a phone number to call to, they don’t have a way of reaching them other than through the app, but they won’t let you in. It’s all black hole. This not just some dumb subscription to a catalog. This is a bank account! There’s sensitive personal and financial information tied up to this service. How are people supposed to get help when there’s an error on Revolut’s side?! I’d recommend people to stay away from this service unless their customer service improves dramatically.

Does not provide any advantage over traditional banks. Impossible to close the account!! Have been trying for months. Chat based customer support is confused. Would not trust real money with this app.

This app is a joke. .All of the people you get in contact In don’t have a clue of what is going on. I tried to transfer money and nobody knows what happened with the transaction Terrible STAY AWAY
Caution on cryptocurrencies

Revolut does not allow you to transfer cryptocurrencies in/out of their platform. You are forced to sell back to them so that they can get commission. Since they do not give you access to your wallet, one has to wonder id they really are selling you cryptocurrencies, or just numbers. IMO they would build more credibility and confidence in their platform if they gave users wallet access.
