Really enjoy everything about the product. The app on the other hand requires a login every day. Can we not just save that ? There is the technology if that is fixed 5 stars
The entire product in clouding the app is okay. I’m not to please with how much you can see with the camera. My app seems to crash a lot more these days and I’m having trouble connecting my doorbell. I do like the night vision tho you can see what going on at night with the night vision but I had to give it an all around 3.
As far as im concerned this could be one of the best products out there HOWEVER, its app is truly TERRIBLE. It is not user friendly. Fails more than it works. Unstable. Like i said a TERRIBLE app. The app is so bad it almost makes having a very well made camera pointless. App has gotten progressively worse over time. I rate the camera itself a 4 but gave a 1 for an overall rating because of what is mentioned above. I would mention all the issues with the app but it would seriously take longer than its worth.
Facial ID is useless since it requires a password every time you try to open the app. Visitors are usually gone before you get the password entered and are able to answer. They should really fix this.
Even with Face ID enabled the server still requires daily login. This problem often makes it impractical to answer the door through the app. Also, most subject faces are not properly exposed during daylight due to back lighting. The company has not fixed these obvious problems in over a year.
App needs a firmware update to address well documented issue of having to repeatedly log back into app. Tech support says it’s an iOS issue and gave me a different app to try. This should be an easy bug to address.
They obviously don’t listen to any of the feedback from the many disgruntled customers. This app needs some serious work that I’m convinced will not ever happen. I’m hoping to find another app that will work with the cameras, if not I’m junking these and getting one that I can use all the features on.
Most of us bought the camera bc you don’t have to pay a subscription. No subscription revenue means they don’t care to fix broken features like Face ID. The doorbell rings. It takes a long tike to answer bc you have to login every time.
This forces to enter password every time even if touch is enabled. Don’t buy this crap if you really need a video door bell to answer guests.
