Love this app. I use it for my business. So far it has been great.

I’ve been using this app on the iPhone for almost 5 years. Even when configured correctly on both the web portal and the phone app, it glitches regularly. I’ve had the following issues: -Missed calls even with the app opened in the background. Rings once and sends it to voicemail. -When transferring to another extension, it sometimes rings it back to me, and often enough to be frustrating. Checked web portal settings, and DND was not on for that line, nor was it set to ring my extension or the main line in any way. -Poor sound quality for calls, to the point of having to call direct from the native Phone app instead when it gets bad. -Will drop signal during less-than-optimal weather. We’re talking light rain, not even a proper storm. I work in a somewhat rural area, but within city limits. Still, it’s what the company chose, and when it does work, it allows us to make calls, have voicemail, and transfer. The send-voicemail-to-email option is also a nice option, particularly if the person is sent to the wrong line. It allows us to forward it to other people in the company.

One frustrating issue

I often miss calls using this app. I get a notice that I missed a call but the app does not ring or display an incoming call. This issue is inconsistent and has persisted through app and iOS updates.

Not so great

Not so great compared to the Vonage app I used before. It does have more features, but maybe too many features all over the place. It's buggy, doesn't work right with my AirPods, still send you voice mail alerts if you're set to "do not disturb". I'll have to call their support next week.

No cover default

Would like a default of no cover page. Would like to scan in the app instead of using a different app to scan in my fix. Not intuitive at all. My job pays for it so I am stuck with it.

I have only been using this for the past 11 months and find it hard to send messages to my customers as they don’t receive e-mails. I don’t find it easy to use. I also miss calls as the signal with it is not the best. Shame really as it could be good for my business

Only one of every four to five calls actually come through. The rest just spin like they are connecting but never actually do.

I have been using the app for three years. It does not work well for many folks that call as the quality of the call is poor. It does keep track of calls well however. Every client that I have spoken too complains that the recorded beep cuts them off and I have to repeat my self constantly. Many times the app will pass messages to my personal side instead of keeping them in the program.

For quite a while (two plus years) and across multiple phones the same issue appears randomly and it’s a significant one. Occasionally I walk into my office after being out of town several days to find voicemails on my desk phone that are not pushed to the app. Typically there would be a notification on my phone, like the “1” over the icon. But sometimes it doesn’t. When I go into the app and refresh the inbox, the new VM shows up. However, that’s too late and certainly the intent of push notifications is so we don’t have to jump into programs and hit refresh. Our whole organization uses RC and I’ve confirmed this issue with others previously. I’ve reported it to our IT group and I believe they’ve logged it as an issue with RC before. Ultimately, as a customer-facing person, this issue is a big deal. Hoping that it’s resolved as I’ve found RC to be very effective for us otherwise.
