This app is great when it’s pays but it didn’t pay me $40 referral or 17% at verishop. I’ve contacted support many times & never hear back

You get an incentive just for shopping through them. You CAN get up to 35$ maybe more. They hilariously calls it a big fat check lol but it’s big in that it is something like better then going straight to the merchant and not getting anything back. Through Rakuten you get pay back something for shopping. Instead of feeling bummed you spent so much money you feel like well at least I’m getting something back lol.
Scams you of your referral reward!

I signed up through a referral code from a friend and made a purchase of $60 (I only needed to spend $30) to get $30 back. They applied the $30 to the account and then when I tried to link my PayPal account they took the referral reward away and I only have $1.47 rewards. I wasn’t able to link my account and wasted time trying to get a reward. Probably would have stayed with the app to try to build up rewards but now its too shady and good luck trying to get support about the issue.

I got my credit card information stolen

I was purchasing a VPN through this app. While purchasing, I typed in my credit card information and was asked if I wanted to save the information, I accepted. After the transaction went through, the price of the service was charged on the card I usually use and is saved on apple wallet. The new card, with no other transaction prior, that I used and saved through the app started getting charges of thousands of dollars. This card was only used and saved in this app. I reported it to my bank and emailed this app letting them know of the incident. What I received from them is all denial and no investigation, not even a “we’ll look into it”. The first email I received a “let the third party know”. I explained that the third party didn’t even charge that card. And then I received a basically “Not our fault our system has been certified”.
