I am very proud to have this app

Terrible

I tried listing my card for sale and it takes me to the mobile site instead - WHY EVEN HAVE AN APP IF IT FORCES ME TO USE THE MOBILE SITE? What a joke. The mobile site won’t let me change my phone number for verification and when I verify via email it asks for a code actually never appears in the email.

It’s very great but.....

Sometimes the others gift cards can be sold out. So a look out for that.

Buying gift cards on Raise Is like gambling

Aus3r

I want to remind potential Raise users that gift cards, bought on Raise app or web site, cannot be returned or refunded when the gift cards look valid but Merchandizer just doesn’t honor the gift cards. Read the fine prints before you think there is no string attached for the advertised buy back guarantee. Here is my story. I bought two gift cards from Raise. Unfortunately when I placed an order on the Merchandizer, my order was always canceled when I paid with the gift cards bought on Raise. If I don’t pay with Raise gift cards, I have no problem placing order on the Merchandizer. Raise gift cards were the only variable and it’s clear, and I have repeated three times, Raise gift cards do not work. I contacted Raise email and phone support, and their response had been consistent: no refund unless you users can prove the gift cards were invalid. Not only Raise puts the burden on their users to prove cards are invalid, but also it is difficult to get the Merchandizer to admit the cards are invalid. As long as the merchandiser considers the gift cards are valid, it doesn’t matter they cannot be used to place orders, and Raise won’t refund. You will be stuck between Raise and the Merchandizer because neither takes responsibilities. At the end of the day buying gift cards on Raise is like gambling. If you spend $100 on Raise and get $150 value, congratulations you win $50, but just remember that there’s some chance you can lose the all $100, when you buy some gift cards that’s not working and no one on your back.

A little disappointed...

I just downloaded the a few days ago and was anticipating my first purchase. We needed a recirculating hot water pump for the house and I found one at Lowe’s. Raise had been sending offers to my email, so I thought why not try to get a $200 gift card to save a little money. I transaction went extremely smooth and I was so happy and proud of myself that I shared my experience with several coworkers. But not even 10 minutes went by and I received a cancellation notice. The explanation was vague, something about an internal server error. Needless to say my very first experience was a disappointment.

FRAUD ALERT***

I sold a gift card on this app and they kept my money and don’t answer the phone

update cause app not working

flutothesky

Again and again! Its been the third time, after i did the update, i won’t be able to see the cards i’ve purchased. Usually i won’t do the update unless i have to, as long as the current version still working, but you always make both the current version and the update not working! Your tech guy really need to do more test before you release the update!
