Issues adding my own gift cards

First off, I love raise because you can save money and I was able to use PayPal to get an additional 5% cash back from my credit card company! It’s awesome and I haven’t had an issue with purchased cards. When adding my own (because I hate carrying around gift cards), it doesn’t allow me to input the full serial number/pin. For P.F. Chang’s, it only allows a 6 digit pin, but on my gift card it’s 8 digits. They should not restrict you on how many you need or the maximum for the number or pin. Fix this and Raise will be an awesome 5 star app!

Love getting cards for less! I have even been in a store, seen a dress on sale, opened my Raise.com app purchased a card for less while standing in line at the store and then used the card for the purchase!! Doubled the savings!!

Unlike most of the other gift card sites, Raise actually has a phone number to call where you can talk to a human to answer any questions you may have. And they are super nice and friendly. They do a great job of verifying the gift cards so you won’t end up buying a dud.

I’ve had several transactions seemingly not go through due to “card error” or “check with your bank error” only to receive confirmation email that it worked and I was charged. I’ve only ever done the lower dollar amount purchases for restaurants, but glitches like that make me real hesitant to get a larger dollar amount. Other times it works great. Deals lately have been rather disappointing though. No more than 2%.

Did not receive gift card I paid for right away. Rather use CardCash.com they give better rates and send gift cards within 10-15 mins of purchase. Not convenient when you’re at the store and want to use the electronic gift card right away to save money. One star.

Raise never offers promo codes for weekends
