I've been using Quip for over a year by now, and I'm hopelessly in love with it. The interface is simple and understandable, smooth and clean. It's very functional, and the ability to use it and manage my documents universally - regardless of platform - makes for an incredibly freeing experience. Offline, and live editing are two more features that lead me to use it all the time. The generosity of the Quip team with the free shirt giveaway really gives you a sense of their concern and appreciation for the user. I greatly recommend the app, and I look forward to future updates including more editing capabilities in the future.

As an obsessive note taker, this app is awesome! I have tried many apps (like Evernote) but Quip wins in my book. It's the closet thing you can get to an old-school word processing program and file system on a PC. I love that I can make my files on my phone then access them from a regular computer or share them with others. I have my Quip set up almost like a digital bullet journal! Love love love it.

Use it mostly for a do list, but much easier to use than other spreadsheet type apps. Syncing with web version I excellent.

Room for improvement. It needs gif capabilities, the ability to indent, more font choices. Still a solid app.

Absolutely love Quip. Spreadsheet formulas and printing options don't exactly do what I need but it's clear the team is making great updates and will get the product there one day.
Bug: The top navigation bar disappears

Steps to reproduce: 1. Directory and files structure: - a/b/doc1 - a/b/doc2 2. Open doc1 in updates tab 3. Open directory b from the top navigation bar 4. Open doc2 in directory b 5. Click back on top left, back to dir b, then click and back again to doc1 6. You will get the bug: the top navigation bar disappeared, you can't go anywhere now, except kill and reopen the app.

For my uses, just as effective and easy. ••••• Added comments Been using for half a year, and still find it very easy to use. New version...don't know when the update took place, but ALL MY FILES have gone away. Where are my old files?
