I started eating more vegetables after using this app. Would recommend to everyone.

Great Document Collaboration! But...

Quip is amazing in terms of its simplicity, ease of use, seamless navigation, alerting and collaboration. The new live apps are also great. In fact I would say it’s king of the hill at the moment. However one of the some key features that could turn it from great to PHENOMENAL would be: 1) “Web clipper” feature similar to Evernote. 2) Ability to attach other docs (PDFs, Images) and have OCR scanning

Couldn't live without it

I use this for my property management business. I keep a file/folder for each property to keep track of time, projects to be done, alarm info, basically everything. For larger projects I can share the folder w my customers so that we can collaborate together on the ever changing job at hand. Just an invaluable tool for me and my business.

Blows Trello away!

Well-made software and user experience

I've tested about a dozen online collaborative task-planning options for a home renovation project with my sister. Quip is by far the most attractive. Its combination of shared Markdown formatted text and spreadsheets is unique and executed well. The native applications have a nice look and smooth feel that clunky Web apps can't match. I wish Quip offered a "personal" tier with two or three users at maybe $50/year. I can't justify $30/month for Quip for a family project that is already costing us money rather than generating income. We will probably use a lash-up of WorkFlowy and Google Docs. But if the money were not an object, we'd use Quip. It's the best thing going.
