Terrible

I really like Publix but both apps are awful! One sent my groceries to be delivered in another state requiring me much agony to fix! The other one does not know me no matter how many times I reset passwords!! I cannot order my items on with app-it’s insane-I’m going to Kroger ONLY because their all actually WORkS-not great-but at least I can get my groceries in a timely manner-I’m done with Publix online!!

Debit card issue

I love using Publix pickup, and use it for the majority of my groceries now. They are so fast and convenient, and since you can tell the app when you’re on your way they’re always coming out of the door as I’m pulling into the parking lot. I’ve hardly ever had to wait. The only issue I have, is within the app. Every time I order I have to re-enter my debit card information because it says that every time you order in a new location you must re-enter your debit card info. But I order at the same location every time. And it won’t let me enter my address into my addresses, because the zip code is not supported. I’m assuming because they don’t deliver to where I live, but I’m not wanting to be delivered to.

No refund for missed item

I ordered two dozen eggs I got one dozen eggs I ask for a refund they took out extra money and wait for me to fix it then I called back they can’t give me the money back so now there’s a credit in this app but I have to spend like 30 or $35 before I can get that money back I don’t trust them to use them for anything again.

Great app, but needs a little tuning.

I’ve been a Publix shopper for quite a while. I go to the same store each week, my home address hasn’t changed in 19 years. However, every time I place a new order via the app I’m prompted to input payment information again, due to “ordering in a new area“. Not a show-stopper, but fairly annoying.

App computations and price processing need improvement

I’m actually looking forward to going back to grocery shopping myself after the experiences I’ve had with this app. It’s disappointing that the prices on my receipts don’t match the prices on the app, especially for BOGO sales. For one order I placed, the app registered the BOGO sale for my choices, but the shopper notified me the second flavor I ordered was out of stock. So I asked for the same flavor as the first one, specifically to take advantage of the BOGO sale. My receipt notes one as a replacement, and not only did I get charged full prices for both items… but I was *also* charged two *different* prices for the same exact item. (One was 20¢ more.) Not sure if there’s a price markup for replacements that’s noted somewhere in the fine print or not... In a separate instance, the shopper either completely disregarded the quantity I ordered (2 to take advantage of another BOGO sale) or there simply wasn’t another one to buy and the shopper didn’t bother to tell me so. The shopper checked out before I could review and approve all adjustments made to my order, even though I’d been responsive/approving order adjustments as the notifications came in. Maybe a potential solution is having real time stock at the selected store incorporated somehow to mitigate the potential for item replacements? Last point of frustration I’ll mention is the discrepancy in time displayed for delivery while shopping is different for actual delivery estimates at check out. I get things change, but it has a symbol that looks like the free shipping symbol to me, only to find out that I have to pay for priority shipping (despite the marketing of free delivery) if I want to get an estimated delivery time that’s still later than the advertised time when I added the last item to my cart just before clicking “check out.” Positives are it’s convenient if/when you don’t have time to go to the store yourself. The higher prices for items makes sense since someone else is performing the service of actually going to the grocery store for you. I think the hiccups with the not getting the advertised sales kind of undermined the appeal of having someone else do a grocery run for me.

Make it easier to find sales again

With the new update, you’ve taken away the “Weekly Savings” category where we could see ALL buy 1 get 1 free items. Now, you can only see about 6 of them. Change it back.

Never again.

It was my first time using this app and I had an awful experience. Items were missing without notifying me, which defeats the whole purpose of using this app because I will have to leave my house to go purchase the missing items. I was also charged for missing items and now I have to wait for a refund. I was hesitate to use this app to begin with and I regret using it. It was not worth it.

I noticed when we the customer talking to the shopper in the chat. When I the customer write something after I send I loose picture and I can’t see any of the last messages by the driver.
