PolyNome Rocks!

Hands down the best metronome out there. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang, there's almost nothing it can't do. Indespensible for learning difficult patterns.

Best metronome app ever made !!!!

Drumiman

This is a must have for all drummers.

If you're serious about finding a metronome that will give you flexibility and control over your practice. This is it

Mind blowing

Mind blowing I’ll start by saying I’m a beginning drummer, 3 yrs into it. I have no musical background, so I don’t speak with any professional insight. I review this app purely is a novice user and beginning drummer. That said, this app is mind blowing. To call it a metronome or even a highly customizable metronome greatly undersells it. It’s a drum machine. You can use it to create every drum groove you can think of and then play it at any speed. You can create beats, grooves or whatever with any combo of ¼, 1/8, 1/6 notes. You can then assign realistic drum sounds and create a real beat. You can then build whole songs by creating openings, fills, beats, bridges and then grouping them in a playlist. Then you can practice entire songs at any speed. This is so much better than apps that slow songs down. Even though those apps do a good job at not distorting notes, tones or whatever, when slowing them down to practice (as a beginner would), the sounds still get drawn out and don’t feel right. With Polynome, you can play at any speed and all the sounds are pure. You can also create patterns and lessons for Stick Control or your snare drum method book so you can hear what you’re trying to play. Not only is it a tremendous help to hear what you trying to play, you also learn a lot about notes and note values by creating the rhythms and assigning sounds to them. Then, once you’ve transcribed your Stick Control patterns or snare method lessons, you can build playlists to play patterns 20 times (as Lawrence insists!) before moving on to the next. You could program it to play a pattern a set number of times, then increase BPM and do it again. Then of course there’s the logging feature that tracks your practice. Also very useful. One reviewer said it's too comprehensive, and another mentioned not intuitive. That's true because it's so powerful. It's like adobe photoshop. Insanely powerful and takes ya lot of work to learn to use fully. I used the Tempo app before and it seemed miles ahead of a simple metronome. Polynome is light-years ahead of Tempo

Amazing!!!
