Revolutionized my Practice Time

This app is amazing and well worth the money. At first it’s a bit confusing, but after a month or two things should be making more sense. I’ve logged almost 1000 hours in 2 years since I got it and my drumming has progressed further than I could have imagined. I was never really good with reading music but through using this app, I can now sight read music and transcribe difficult drum parts. On top of that, I actually had fun doing it. With this app, your drumming ability is only bounded by your creativity and motivation level.
So, So Much More Than A “Metronome

I am guitarist who encounters/plays some complex “fingerstyle” rhythms (bass and treble clefs that employ different rhythm patterns in the same measures). By permitting me to enter the values of notes in the bass and treble clefs in separate beat lines (essentially like using parallel metronomes) Polynome has transformed the way I analyze and practice a new piece of music. It is simply amazing and I can’t believe I’m only discovering it now!!! I’ve read a couple of the reviews that say it’s over complicated—I am 70 years old, have owne the app for one hour, and I have already transcribed approximately 20 pretty complex measures into a new preset. The complexity derived from the seemingly endless variety of options. It is mind-blowingly amazing. I’m looking a. $150 Boss Dr. Beat metronome I have connected to my mixer and thinking, “Reverb!!” I can, without any reservation say that this is the best app I EVER purchased and/or subscribed to. I enthusiastically encourage anyone who wants to improve his/her rhythm (and who doesn’t?) to take give this app a try. Yes, it does take a few minutes to get under your fingers, but then it’s pretty darn intuitive. I simply can’t rave enough about it. So I will stop. I have tried most of the metronomes out there. Just take the time to learn the features and you will need nothing else. I especially appreciate the frequent updates.

I’m a music teacher and working musician. This metronome is by far the best. I had it before the pro version was released. Just when you think it can’t possibly get any better, they update it with even more features! Get it!! I have the Pro upgrade.
Works fine but not great

When this app was first released it was great! Now through the course of various upgrades the ability to change the sounds of each note is MUCH more difficult. It used to be intuitive and quick, now it’s buried and I’ve actually given up in creating new saved items because I can’t figure out how to change sounds. It’s gotten worse with time.
