Haven’t been a fan since it was rewritten, and everyone had to pay for the Pro version a second time. I feel like maybe the devs are trying to do too much with it. The interface seems cumbersome. It definitely is not something to use when you just need a simple click, as you have to program in a rhythm before the metronome will even work. Who’s ever heard of a metronome that you can’t just hit Play and go? Also, the app has an inbox? That’s annoying. Is there a way to avoid receiving messages unless they’re of vital importance? I originally got PolyNome because I wasn’t entirely happy with Tempo Advance’s weird interface. I was perfectly happy with the original version, and I wish the devs would have kept it available with occasional compatibility updates as necessary. The new version makes me consider going back to Tempo Advance. At least it’s equally usable/fast whether you need a simple click or a complex polyrhythm. PolyNome is not worth using unless you’re doing something complex, and have the time to program it.

This is a great metronome. You can do poly rhythms with ease. The price is very reasonable and you can take it anywhere. Run it through ear phones or a speaker and the sound is great.

Nothing comes close! Every drummer and drum teacher should use PolyNome. It should just be the standard for learning how to play.

Excellent on all fronts! This application is extremely powerful and very deep. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is well worth it. You can create exercises for yourself, a whole practice regimen, tempo ranges, and map all of your progress. Thanks you!
Great Gigging Tool

I'm a freelance pro drummer who works with several different acts and needs to learn and retain a bunch of songs for each. The ability to create grooves in this app to remind me of how the song goes before I count the song in is a real lifesaver. Joe, the author, really thought of everything a drummer, or ANY musician who uses a metronome would need from a metronome app....great for beginners as well as pros!! Each new update gets better too!

I paid full price yet this app won’t stop nagging me with messages I don’t want. Also it is way too cluttered and complicated and doesn’t even have any good sounds. DM1 is a much better more intuitive app that has better and much less annoying sounds
