Great!

I’ve been playing drums for over 50 years and teaching for half of that. This is absolutely the best app with the most possibilities you could ever ask for. Constant and improvement’s and updates make it way way worse than money.

The Best App In The World

JRZ..._?

Joe, the programmer, is a diligent musical educator who is dedicated to excellence in his product and desire to help other musicians. It is hard to imagine a rhythmic task that this app cannot handle. The depth of programming is second to none. Joe thought of everything, and continually improves the product. The video instruction library is also very helpful because seeing a demonstration of the product in action is the best way to learn how to use it. I can tell that Joe has a passion for his art and his product. If I were a programmer this would be the standard for which I would aspire. Thank you Joe!

Flat out fantastic!

PolyNome has quickly become my go-to metronome. Has replaced drum machines and various different metronomes as it’s always with me and just a click away. I very much appreciate the fairly regular updates and tweaking of features. PolyNome is now my absolute favorite metronome and a solid recommendation to every musician I meet. Get it - you’ll love it.

Simply the best

As a drummer for 48 years, I've used everything from a classic wood "pyramid" metronome to the old 80's Boss Dr Beat metro. And I can tell you without any reservations, the PolyNome is the BEST metro out there! I've used the PolyNome for the last 4 years and it keeps getting better, with the continued upgrades. I've used several other "smart" metronomes and have found the PolyNome to be as complex or as simplistic as I want. It's all I use.....

Paradigm Shifting Metronome & Metronomic Learning Tool

This app can change your life on any instrument. It has any choice of sounds, subdivision overlay faders, two separate rhythm entries plus with two Lines each that can reflect the selected sticking from multiple sounds in each limb, polyrhtmic and counting full screen visuals, online public community library of presets and playlists, playlists that cycle presets and sub presets, setlists, the list goes on, on. The bottom line is if you’re in anyway interested in the world of rhythm, this app is worth every cent. We have a lot to be grateful for from drummer Joe Crabtree, it’s sole developer. Have a new idea or an issue with the app? He’ll hear you out and address it. This app is almost perfect as is, albeit with a relative learning curve that pays dividends (aided by joe’s vast video tutorials linked within the app and beyond). This app will only continue to grow in scope and sweetened layout ergonomics. With this tool, our learning is only limited by our imagination and discipline. Thanks Joe.

The Best App for Drummers

Most valuable bass tool

Having a percussion app like this has contributed immensely to my skill-building exercises. As much as they talk about drums in the tutorials, everything mentioned can be applied towards my practice sessions though replicating Neil Peart is a work in progress.

Stop looking.

Far better than good, and an active developer keeping it that way.

Excellent application with excellent support

There is a lot to learn about this metronome application, but if you take the time to learn it your efforts will be well rewarded. To make it easier to learn, the author has provided numerous, easily accessible videos that explain how to use all of the features of the application. Also, the author is responsive to support questions.

PolyNome is a Masterpiece

Outstanding, highly customizable, dual metronome app that has helped me learn more complex rhythms on the drum kit in less time. PolyNome allows you to run two simultaneous metronomes with different patterns and assigned sounds (clicks/drums/high hat/cymbals/etc). I can program one metronome for my hands and a second one for my feet. This allows me to hear what the music is supposed to sound like and to slow things down to see how each of my limbs is supposed to play it.
