Been using the app for years and find it very convenient and useful. As my memory is shot I use it many times a day. It coordinates very nicely with my iPhone, iMac, and my iPad.

I tried them all before I settled on DataVault. I love DataVault. Ive been using it for several years now. I’ve sold family and friends on using it and they love it too. I have it on three devices. I really don’t like the iPhone version much, it’s just an alphabetical list but it works in a pinch. I really like the Mac version and the iPad version simply rocks. With a zillion passwords, I have to use it everyday. Recently I had my Mac reformatted and in putting it all back together I managed to delete my DataVault data on two devices including the master. I was devastated when I though all had been lost. I contacted Ascendo just in the off chance they could help. They did. Customer service was prompt and efficient. Happy happy customer! Thank you!

I’ve been using DataVault for 13 to 15 or more years. The interface is very user friendly and the app can be used for passwords; purchased serials; battery types on watches, so that you can buy the battery before opening the watch... inventory serials and model info; combination locks; website login info; and urls for connecting to websites. What I just listed is the tip of the iceberg. You are only limited by your needs and imagination. Websites that you haven’t logged into for 20 years... open your database, and there they are. 256 bit encryption of the data is another plus for DataVault. Encryption keeps your information protected. The Database can synchronize with your other devices... iPhone; iPads; Mac computers etc.... IOS devices can be set so that adding info to one, adds to all of your others, via the iCloud which means that the devices become instant backups for each other for the DataVault database. Android devices are similar in function. You will still need to perform complete backup your devices regularly, for full device assurance. I recommend this product.

I continue to recommend DaraVault to friends because it is both easy and syncs with my desktop in case my phone were to go astray or fail.
It sort of works, sometimes, if you are not to picky.

They have stopped giving me any response since I wrote a bad review after not getting help for weeks. From what I read in the reviews, I am not the only one this happens to. I wrote this review a few weeks ago. It used to take a day to a few days to get a reply which was at least an acknowledgment I needed help. However, since I changed my review to a one star I have not gotten replies from them. A few weeks ago they emailed that they were sending my case to their next level of support. It seems the next level is no support. I’ve been using the DataVault app for 7 years or more. I’ve always had sync problems between devices. Getting help is cumbersome and can take from days to weeks or more, and for me, still hasn’t solved my sync problems. I’ve asked for phone support but they don’t offer it. As a result I often give up after a week or more of trying different attempts at following their email support suggestions. Over the time I have been using DataVault it has never synced with all my devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and PC) and either through WiFi, Dropbox or iCloud. These past several weeks have been particularly frustrating. I tried updating my password and because of that or soon after, it deleted many of my inputs. I asked for support after searching the FAQs and the manual. I have gotten several emails from them attempting to rectify the problem but none of the suggestions have been helpful, or worse, have led to additional problems. I suspect this could be resolved with a phone call but, they have refused. Instead I have to wait for the next day until I get a reply which so far hasn’t led to a resolution. This time it’s been weeks of frustration. In the past I’ve given a higher star rating but, I am loosing patients and frustrated with their lack of support after spending years of no resolution.

I’ve been using this app and the companion desktop program for several years now. It’s very easy to use, and easy to sync data to/from the desktop for secure local backup.

Turns out, DataVault is more feature rich than I expected. Looking forward to syncing with my PC. I can’t think of anything more that I would want in this app!
