Troublesome

Schlowago

Right out of the box I had problems, and they were anything but easy to figure out. First, I could not get data imported properly from my old password manager, though DataVault *specifically* mentions that I can. I could only get the IOS app to sync with the desktop DataVault app via Dropbox (could *NOT* get iCloud or WiFi to work), and the IOS DataVault app locked up every time I tried to fast switch between it and my old password manager as I attempted to log into Dropbox sync. I know that the other big-name password manager charges an arm and a leg for yearly subscription service, but, doggone if I’m not feeling that the difference in ease-of-use makes the higher cost of the other app worth it!

It’s Me

I know I am using this app all wrong. I have adapted it to my minds way of thinking. I find little glitches and sometimes text will hang on the screen when trying to make a correction. The app works for me !

Best Password Safe Yet

I now use iCloud sync and it keeps everything in sync over several devices so I always have my passwords handy. Datavault is the best of several apps I have used over the years in terms of its ability to sync over several devices and its desktop.

Just what I wanted!

Once I finally figured how to make it work the way I wanted I find it the best app for my security. It is easy to access and is saves me a lot of time.

Excellent password manager app

I’ve used DataVault for several years now and have been very happy with it. As with all password managers there’s a bit of a learning curve, but not a big deal. Highly recommended.

Lost everything with new phone

2MarcM

I was using Datavault to keep my passwords. When I got a new phone none of that date transfered over. I lost everything. I’m fed up with this now. I’ve lost all of my productivity because I haven’t even bothered to change all my forgotten passwords. I just don’t use those apps anymore. I’m thinking about throwing this phone into the river. The only thing stopping me is an addiction to Facebook. I’m hopeless with this stuff.

No longer works, no support

DreaBoston

I used this for many years successfully. Until recently there has been a major bad glitch. At my work, I have to change my password on multiple softwares every three months. Now, when I go in to edit and update my password, it does not save like it used to. So I’ve had to reset my passwords even more than is needed due to this. And now I have to save that info as a backup somewhere else which completely defeats the point of using this app. I sent a message to their support people twice about this and there does not seem to be any urgency to fix it or troubleshooting. It’s completely unreliable right now and does not do what it is supposed to do. I’m very disappointed in the lack of support on this major issue.

Love this password app!

My passwords are finally organized and easy to find. Very happy. I would like to download a pdf summary document for safe keeping occasionally. Is that an option?
