Seamless!!

LizzrdVanReptile

I’ve been using Data Vault for several years now, beginning with Android and now iOS, and have always been very pleased with both the application and the responsiveness of the development team. I especially LOVE the iOS capability of updating info wirelessly! No more need for logging onto the PC to sync multiple times to ensure that iPad and phone are synced up! Fantastic! I won’t be without a password vault, and Ascendo’s is one of the very best.

Works

I’ve used it for years and never found cause to switch to anything else, which is more than I can say about the similar app I used before switching to this.

Very nice for keeping track of your most important information. If you update your phone the app automatically updates your iPad or vice versa. I like the fingerprint ID feature.

Used for years

I have loved this program but currently can not sync to my desk top. Frustrating but if just using on phone great app

I have been considering for a new password keeper for awhile now. The one I have been using, “iPassword”, has worked okay but has a terrible marketing flaw. Every time you open the app, you are prompted to “please make a 5 star rating”. So people will rate it with 5 stars thinking that will shut off the prompt, but it won’t; its imbedded in the opening programming. Consequently their ratings are also flawed. So . . . be advised interested parties that while my initial opinion here is very good, especially for the fact of how the customer service seems a priority, good file organization, nice starter templates, user friendly, no on going costs AND no in-your-face mandatory soliciting prompts, I will call out crap when/if I see it! And so far nothing negative to review. I’ll give this a month and by then I should be entirely switched over, and do a follow-up. See you soon.

Excellent Value

I’m old school using list in spread sheet for years then purchased apps from other vendors over the years that stopped supporting upgrades so we got the most out of our last purchase until it decided to go to an annual subscription service this pushed me away in a hurray . like a bear in a forest fire i ran for cover and a breath of fresh air. DataVault to the rescue!! You guys got it right- simple to use quickly syncs with with my mac -backs up to my network drive- easy to use interface and great help when you need it Thanks for a great product tom hendrix

Security, Synchronization, Reliability

Over the past 5 years of use, my Datavault database has grown to over 300 items. I use it multiple times a day for personal data. DataVault has the security, synchronization, and ease of use that meet my needs. Face it, if you don't have all those, you wouldn't have an app you want! ... a Mac,iPod Touch, and iPhone user. What would I like to see for improvements? Add'l or user icons; 2-3 more fields per record; set a template to match a given item; addition of an alphabet selector for items on the mac version, just like on the iOS version; an independent tag field for each item that can easily be used as a view selection filter for groups like personal, business, personal-archived, business-archived. 2018-07-16 update: I still give the DataVault app 5 stars. In the past year, I’ve upgraded to a new iMac and iPad. The app continues to run well. Occasionally, I’ll get a pop-up message on my iMac that it can’t sync due to a failed cloud connection, but I don’t attribute that to the app - its informing me that its always staying on top of its job: synchronization. I still wish there were another 2-3 fields per record. I overflow into the comment section now on some types of records. Additionally, I’m torn on how much DataVault should support security questions. I use the comment field now and, without 6 more user-defined fields, wouldn’t consider moving them into those. I’ve thought of other enhancements that would help me: Color the field names different from the field values; on IOS, allow text selection in the note field without having to enter edit mode for the record; provide an assistance tool to assist in aligning records’ field names to the current Category/type template (done manually now!); add creation and last modified date-time stamps to templates.

I would be lost without it

tpage-lacoff

The single most important app I have. It works just how I need it to, the developer is super responsive. It is secure and has enough redundancy to make me feel like I’m not going to lose my whole life if Apple decides to upgrade and destroy all previous versions of the iPhone. My inner girl wants more pictures, but she is super needy.

Excellent tool to keep all devices synced

I’ve used this app for years in previous versions and current. It keeps all my most important data synced between multiple devices on different operating systems. I use it multiple times a day and couldn’t get thru my day without it.
