As soon as I sign up, it asks me for a pin I haven’t created yet. Okay, I’ll create a pin. App warns me that the credit card information I haven’t entered yet will be deleted. I get to the credit card screen, no quick way of entering a credit card (scan, stored card, etc) Screw it, I’ll just use the meter.
It doesn’t let you take a photo of your license. Why not add that extra layer to avoid confusion? It doesn’t use Apple Pay. Why make me open my wallet in a parking lot to add a credit card?
This app worked fine until TODAY, when I was already parked at a meter, with no quarters. I opened up my app and the screen was frozen...just a black screen that reads “Passport Parking”. I thought for sure that I needed an update. I tried the App Store and sure enough, I had the latest version. I hope the city of Pasadena can figure out a more reliable solution to parking...passport parking is not ready for prime time.
Every time the bonehead developers of this app update it the UI changes and makes it super hard to use. Here’s a use case… user walks to the meter and attempts to set up a parking session only to have the payment rejected. Then they fumble around trying to add a cc which gets rejected for no known reason. Garbage app.
I got the app a week ago and it’s been making me have to pay for a minimum of 3 hours! I’ve asked my friends who use it and they don’t have to, so I’m really confused how to change it. I keep trying to change the time but it always goes back to a minimum of 3 hours.
Charged me from a Friday to a Sunday 42.00 wanted the 7day parking for 42.00 no one would help us. Finally got a text on Sunday when the time was expiring. I had to pay for 7 day parking again another 42.00 what a rip off.
time so I have to pay for 4 hours whether I want 50 minutes or less. Thieves
