This app is incredibly helpful. As a graduate student, being able to access articles and books on the go (iPad/iPhone) is such a luxury.

I do research full-time for a living. It was driving me crazy that I could not access my Zotero library except on the web interface on my ipad. Now I can access, edit, and make notes on everything (spring for the annotation upgrade - it is worth it). Update: The application is no longer syncing with my Zotero account which makes it virtually useless. I have submitted countless tickets with no response.

Just got the annotation package but it seems like this hasn’t been updated in about three years now so it’s buggy and does not sync well or import well

Great integration with Zotero! Finally I can read papers, annotate and find new ones in the same place. Great for academic papers.

I don’t use the annotations feature much for this app but I decided to purchase it anyway to support the app development for Zotero users. I’ve tried many other apps for accessing my Zotero library. I’ve even tried the Mendeley app and I love this app much more. What a great design! The thing I love most is that I can sync my notes to box.com and quickly access my PDFs and the notes on those PDFs right from my phone. Other apps make this process too cumbersome. I am a doctor and I am so happy that I can reference the latest medical guidelines quickly and easily. Great job PaperShip team. Please, please, please use the money I just donated to continue to maintain this app for Zotero. Please!

This app is very buggy and is no longer updated by the developer (just look at the date in the App Store.) Sometimes I can get updates from Zotero but most of the time it does not work. It is a good concept, but the execution is flakey at best. Maybe it works better for Mendeley, but I wouldn’t count on it. I really want to like it, but right now I can’t give it more than 1 star.

I was all ready to love this app, until I downloaded it, bought the in-app purchase, and realized that all the features promised (including the most basic of syncing annotations to citation software) didn’t work anymore, and that the developer has abandoned the platform. Don’t buy this, or you won’t be able to retrieve your annotations except manually transferring them over.
