Amazing. Been 2 days. Already love it

This is exactly the app I should have installed months or years ago. It allows me to read papers on the go without having to open my laptop. It is seamlessly synced to my zotero library. I can read papers when offline. I don't use annotation much but I guess I wouldn't mind paying for such an awesome app if I need to annotate or get more services. Would be nice if the folders and sub folders in my zotero library could be collapsed or expanded at will instead of having them all expanded. Thanks for providing such a great app and service.

annotations not syncing with Zotero

WARNING: this app appears to have been abandoned by the developer - no updates in over a year, and no replies to my emails Used to be a five-star app... but now any annotations that I make in the app (highlights, handwritten notes, inserting a text box) no longer get synced back to Zotero. FYI, my PDFs are stored in Box - but perhaps if you use Zotero’s cloud service, or some other, it will work? —————— PREVIOUS 5-STAR REVIEW PaperShip has proven to be an amazing tool for handling papers in my Zotero database. And the developer is constantly making incremental improvements in the app. I prefer to read scientific papers on my iPad mini instead of a Macbook screen or external display — it just feels more natural to me, more like holding a copy of a manuscript or a journal in my hands, and I would rather highlight text or add annotations with a stylus than with mouse and keyboard. This app is perfectly suited to this task. My only complaint is the lack of any granular control over files that are on one's iPad - there are no settings for max total file size, or selective download of specific collections, and no way to clear an entire local cache other than signing out of my account.

Please fix the WebDAV bug

Zhangxunck

PaperShip is good enough for me to use along with zotero on my iOS device until not long ago. I am using WebDAV from box.com to manage attachments, it was easy to check attachments on iOS, and also convenient to upload attachment to storage. However, this process stop working since last month, no attachments can be uploaded from iOS now. Please fix it, thanks!

Don’t buy it now

The app seems being abandoned and stops updating anymore. No support for new system and no new features and bugs not fixed.

DON'T BUY THIS APP

It seems that this app has been abandoned.

Fantastic App Until You Need Support

I have not found a better app for syncing PDFs, annotating them, and having full access to their citations. However, upon having issues adding new documents I have received zero support for the developers or anyone for that matter. It’s really a shame as I’ve always held this platform in high regard, I used it near daily and recommended it whenever I had the chance. It’s incredibly disappointing that an app of this quality could have such poor support.

Fills a critical role in using zotero

Haeckelian

Moved from mendeley to zotero. So glad to have a way to access my library on mobile.

Only journal articles

The Partially Colorblind

Seems to be designed well enough for journal articles, but doesn't allow you to add books, reports, or monographs at all. Completely useless for my workflow.

Not working any more with zotero+box.com

Yonggeun

Don’t buy if you use zotero file sync with box.com. The app has not been updated longer than a year. The developer stopped responding even at his own forum. Sadly it seems the developer discontinued by herself.

Needs update to work with Zotero

Bodymechanic1

This app worked great and synced with Zotero perfectly, until recently. Seems like since the recent Zotero upgrade, the app no longer updates recent articles that are added to Zotero.
