Best Podcasting App

This app has it all. From an intuitive UI, clean appearance, and all the features you'd need, it's head and shoulders beyond the stock podcasting app. I've saved countless hours using the "smart speed" feature which intelligently speeds through gaps is life changing. Please do yourself a favor and at least give this app a shot! Update: Recent version crashes, doesn't delete podcasts properly, or saves settings.

I have used this app for three years. And have also used many before using Overcast. This is the best app for listening to podcasts. With host of features that are easy to add and explore. I definitely will support the developers here. Looking forward to many more creative features from leaders in this technology business.
Great Podcast App... (4.75 Stars)

Would rate it a 5 if I could use my AppleTV easily, to listen to my podcast (tvOS App that sync’d) SmartSpeed & VoiceBoost, are a must. Podcast’s sound ‘Odd’ without ‘SmartSpeed’, now. There is no other and nothing better, to listen to podcasts on. [CAR-PLAY] Csplay people, at least on my 2017 A4’s MMI sbd like it’s factory. Love it, thank you. People, NEVER FIRGET, overcast supports CAR-PLAY :-) (I’m Physically/Legally Disabled* so the bedroom TV gets a lot of use (vs living room, as not to sound like an a-hole I watch little TV (Just an audio output for overcast as HomePid v1 is (enough said (besides audio quality only)). I just want to use Overcast as it is just the best PodCast App there is, and with no Safari on TV available, either. PS: Like personal Herman Miller Embody over the Mirra I tweeted you about ~9 years ago (I got it, but some days are just not those days -90° triple fused spine & two fake hips - @47 yrs (now), thus it personally would be welcomed (...or til Apple Inc unlocks Safari on tvOS fully). Looks nice, but like most podcast apps it only has a list view. Would be nice if it had a grid view. Also, what is it with podcast apps requiring a recurring subscription? How much yearly development could an app as simple as a podcatcher possibly need?
Flexible, funny and easy

Overcast contains feature that allows for playlists and automated priority with a very easy interface. They do this without taking themselves too seriously as evidenced by the naming conventions in settings. It’s the only podcast client that I use now.

positives: •speed control is the best I have seen outside of a desktop app; very useful to skim portions of podcasts; gives much more granular control in the range of 1.1x to 1.35x where you need it •easy to set downloads •I have used Overcast for a few years now, occasionally checking the others. It's still the best for the reasons mentioned above.

Hands down, the best podcast app! Works amazingly also with car Bluetooth which might seem a granted thing these days, but trust me, many apps get it wrong!

I listen to 6 hours of podcasts a day. Overcast is amazing. It just works. Syncing to the website is great. I love it. Smart Speed is the killer feature. The reduction of silences alone is the reason to try it. The UI is simple and straight forward. The Apple Watch app works great too.
