Loving Voice Boost 2

dewdaw

Already loving VB2! Just makes it much more pleasant to listen to certain podcasts! Thank you, Marco!

Great app!

RedAntelope

Always been one of my favorite apps on my phone. Bravo!

Love it

Has everything I need and it’s simple Edit. New update is a struggle. Podcast are constantly struggling and god it’s annoying. Stopped listening to pods until it’s fixed. Hopeful fix soon or I’m moving back to other apps.

Great app, chill about ads, needs more integration with other apps

First of all this is the one of the best podcast apps and certainly the one to get if you are interested in a fairly clean design, audio performance, interested in reducing the time needed to listen to podcasts. This is my most used podcasting app because the combination of smart speed and voice boost just cuts down the time listening to podcasts. VoiceBoost2 raises the bar again. Once again Marco prioritizes audio performance above most features. Also he has added the ability to trim the beginning and ends of podcasts which can save you 5-10% of podcast duration. So what left for Marco to improve? 1) add an alphabetical sort as an option to the date sorts. Most responsible podcasts make sure that their podcasts have episode numbers and this would 2) have a keyword exclude from the title or description for podcast For example “rebroadcast” is one I've used with other podcast apps 3) a better way to add non-podcasts to overcast is what I most want. The current method is clunky involving the web version and doesn’t always see to easily get rid of podcasts you’ve played. I’d like to see support for the share sheet to send a mp3 to Overcast. iCatcher and PocketCasts support this function I have purchased the premium account. To be frank the model of ad supported/subscription is probably how every iOS centric app is going to go because only that model gives an incentive for the developer to keep improving their app while at the same time keeping the bar low enough for new users.

best podcast app

marco is constantly adding new features that improve the overall experience. best of all the app is free and 1000000x better than apples podcast app, but you should buy premium to support this awesome developer

Best podcast app.

The best just keeps getting better.

One Gigantic Problem

Momentumspace

It’s almost exactly what I need, but on my iPhone 6S, notification sounds don’t play when something new comes in, while I’m playing something on Overcast. That makes it a no-go, for me. It’s a shame, because I’m sure 6S isn’t something they worry about, and it will probably never be fixed. Other than that gigantic glaring problem, it’s the perfect podcast app. It’s exactly what I want, but I can’t use it.

Mysteriously deleted all my podcasts

The Portmanteau

Like the title says .... all the podcasts I was subscribed to vanished without warning. Total garbage.

Disappointing Crashes

blueCHiPP

I’ve used and loved this app for years. Pretty disappointed that in the past few months it has taken to frequently crashing in the background within maybe 30 seconds of putting my phone to sleep.

best i have used so far

therearewaytoomanyusers

this app is awesome and has been for the last like 8 years i have used it. although sometimes i do wish there were more filter functions when browsing podcasts, the current controls are still great
