Ok but frustrating

I purchased this app and I’m using it mainly because that is what others in our Uke group use. Key points that are VERY frustrating 1. You cannot share the same files among various devices. THIS IS A HUGE DRAWBACK One should be able to update the app on one device, then login on another iPad, computer, whatever and have the same content. This is not the case. You have to go through a very convoluted export and import process every time you make a change on one device to have it match on another. One would think that if you pay $30 for this app, this would be a given . This is why we are all researching other options 2. You cannot record a video And see your OnSong screen with the lyrics at the same time. In this time of quarantine, many of us are wanting to out videos out but need to see our music at the same time. I’m having to set up 2 devices to do this. Some other oddities is that when you edit a song and check bracketed chords. They still remain Above the words and not within the same line. I’ve been using this app daily for about a year now. I’m hoping OnSong will see this and respond with what they plan to do in the future to help with these issues. Thank you

OnSong is a masterpiece of usability. It does pretty much everything right. Plenty of room for improvement but worth the effort to learn. A musician’s best friend and it saves trees.
Lost features

I purchased OnSong this past fall. Now to use features I previously had I am supposed to pay for premium. I see others have had this problem as well. I DID email support about 2 weeks and haven’t heard back. I will change the rating to 5 if and when my features are restored. Edit: Thanks for the response!

I’ve been a member since 2012 when ONSONG APP was the thing 2020 the app still look the same and nothing improved at all. For you to login you have to go to Rockin with the cross website ? We’re in 2020 please improve your app. The renewal and subscription is so trash and I am not getting why they don’t just have a button right there on the app where it says tap to renew your subscription ? This is ridiculous

My initial reaction is that this is not user friendly and apparently isn’t what I had hoped it would be. I’m hoping to continue learning how to use it, but I was expecting it to be more user friendly. I wish I hadn’t spent the $30.

I recently purchased Onsong. To connect Onsong to my Beatbuddy using Bluetooth, I am being asked to buy a subscription. How ridiculous! You guys seem to have lost your mind.

I have loaded my music binders approximately 5 binders with about 800 + songs each, about half PDFs and the other half word files, and i can only see a handful of them the other never show up on screen, have been trying to get this resolved and communication is poor at best with onsong support.

I use this app all the time. It really shines on Sunday for church. I am a worship leader and tech savvy. I use this app to change the songs for other band members, to control Ableton Live for backing tracks, and to control our lighting board. Onsong keeps me very organized and able to automate so much. I also use it to keep track of the songs for CCLI reporting. Their support team has always been great when minor bugs come up. Thank you Onsong!!!
