Keyboard won’t go away after clicking “done” when you’re done editing a song.

I purchased $35.99 and want I want is to project the chord and lyrics at the big screen through apple play or my hdmi adapter but it won’t let me do it I guess I have yo pay additional for subscription! I am not sure! It also has to many things that it is so complicated to use

The “drawing” feature will only draw straight lines. Draw a squiggle, or curve or circle, or try to write a notation on any song, and all you get is a straight line. Whether you use Apple Pencil or your finger. Whether in iPad or iPhone. Both of them have same problem. I paid extra for the feature, which is now useless. Also, the sticky-note feature just plants itself right in the middle of the song, hiding the lyrics and chords. That’s not much use either. You can’t move it to the side, out of the way. Other than that, it’s a great app, very useful; it’s easy to import chord-pro songs from other apps. Very easy to transpose, etc. Also a new problem, i tried emailing a pdf of one song, and it disappears from the email even though you’ve attached it as a file. Maybe this is an Apple problem. Weird.

I’ve used this app for about 10 years now. Love it! But the drawing functionality isn’t working like it used to. Every time I used the pen, my drawing turns into a straight line! What happened?

Worked great for years. Pro subscription. Everything stopped working. Receiving correspondence regularly. Pro features won’t work. Can’t log in. Can’t reset. Can’t restore after reinstall. Can’t start trial, won’t let me sign up. Can’t resubscribe, won’t let me sign up. Used every email I have to attempt sign up. Won’t accept any. Backed up twice. I’m done, because only email support and no way to fast track because my subscription is not recognized. I have to lead worship at a conference. I can’t wait this long for help. I need help now. No phone support, not good. You just lost a customer. UPDATE : Customer support finally got back to me. Trying to find out the issue and resolve.

Wrong Chords, Deletes Entire Verses Randomly, Quirky Scrolling!! The things that originally made this app great are ruined!!! When I originally purchased this app a few years ago I liked it’s versatility and the general layout. It had some very helpful features. I was able to use it for gigs. Now not so much. One of the many features that seems to have been destroyed during the latest updates is the chords over the lyrics function. After inputting all of the lyrics and chords in “edit”mode and then clicking “done” to exit and return to view the song, the chords are all in the Wrong key. Then going back into “edit” mode the chords are correct. Even clicking “detect key” in metadata does not help. All Chords are still in the wrong key. This makes the app totally useless. Many times now when in “edit mode” I attempt to copy and paste a repetitive chorus after each verse the app somehow deletes anything in between those two points and the verses and pre-chorus are gone. Extremely frustrating and makes this app useless to rely on for a gig having the wrong chords displayed and entire sections missing. The sensitivity when scrolling down a page is also now very quirky. It randomly jumps to other pages when simply trying to move down the page. Sticky notes seem to disappear randomly, not always though, if I enter “edit” mode and then return to original screen sometimes they remain, other times they’re gone. These glitches make this app difficult to trust when having to make a minor change to a lyric. Originally I really enjoyed this app. Now I can’t rely on it. I used to recommend this app to other musicians. If these issues were solved I would easily give 4 or 5 stars.

This app was super great when I first got it. Then iOS 14 came out, and OnSong has been buggy and glitchy since. It just doesn’t go well with iOS 14 anymore.I understand that they are trying, but it’s like they just can’t get it to work with iOS 14. The onscreen arrow keys are buggy and the Apple Pencil doesn’t work right anymore. I did submit a ticket but they said they had to submit it for further review. That was a month ago. I really miss not being able to make notations on my cord charts. I mean I guess I can make notations, but it is just so annoying to have to go through everything you have to go through to get a note written out.Editing a song makes me want to pull my hair out due to the arrow keys popping up and going away and you have to touch it here first and then hope you get back up to the screen in time. I just really miss the Apple Pencil not working right anymore.

Not happy at all. I bought this app because I know some people who have been using OnSong for a few years now and recommended it. They using the Drawing tool to make notes and do not pay a subscription. It was only after I paid for the program that I discovered the Drawing tool is no longer an add-on but rather part of the premium subscription. Seems a bit ridiculous when I already paid for the app. Not at all worth the money to upgrade for one feature I would actually use. There are a ton of other features included I will never have any use for that I would gladly trade to be able to have the one function I really needed. The app works great for organizing songs but I could use anything to do that. Frankly, I would request my money back if I could and use another program that includes this function.

EDIT: Was told to download beta. It was useless. My problem was not addressed. When i sent a reply to their comments to me, IT STARTED A NEW TICKET! Not only that, i never received a response. So far, its a crap app and the customer service is garbage. I would marek less than one star if it was possible. We have a few separate accounts, bought 6 iPads, page turners, the mounts for the iPads, the works…. And none of it is being used for well over a month now because this app is useless. ——————————————————————————————————— Keeps glitching out. Automatically changes pages, when switching to the next song it goes to the last page, some of my devices the song wont come up it just shows a blank page or title only. Two sundays we haven’t been able to use this app. Support had me use beta… how do i screen shot it glitching? I sent a video but haven’t heard back. Frustrating that there isn’t a faster channel… small budget, cant get premium and cant justify the extra cost anyways. Great app otherwise.
