Disappointments developing over time

jennieexp

Sad about the changes - now have to pay extra on a subscription basis for "premium" features (e.g. drawing, sticky notes) after already paying for the app. Way to disincentivize loyal customers.

Not worth it to me, to much hassle

mister-megabyte

No option to search for songs within the app. This makes it a real pain. You must save your songs from another source then to to Dropbox or something then maybe you can get them added to onsong. Just a hassle. Make it so you can search within the app then you have something.

Songs don’t load properly

Beadesantos

I tried downloading my PDF files but instead of going directly to the main library it creates its own sets. And I tried reaching it for customer service and it won’t even let me type anything on the screen. So I need help please.

Membership wall blocking access to features in recent updates…

PauloClayton

I purchased this app years ago as it was a very popular and solid option for scrolling through charts. However, with the recent update, they have placed numerous features behind a membership wall that are in accessible unless you create an account and share all kinds of information with them. Having to suddenly create an account for an app that cost $20 to regain access to features I used regularly… That’s a dealbreaker for me. I was already looking at other potential options due to the app having woeful instability, constantly crashing, not to mention consistently pulling up a login / “create an account” screen every single time the app is launched, and I do mean *every single time*. No thanks. Pretty disappointed with the direction this app went and will be looking elsewhere.

No support

A lot of malfunctioning

Been using for years!

Phat pastor

We’ve been using OnSong at church for years. In my opinion this is an excellent app for organizing your songs and live worship period! I only wish is that the Bluetooth pedals worked better. Still five stars would give but 5 is Max!

Crashes

B. Stockman

App crashes when I import songs from planning services. Before update it only crashed when importing sheet music and mp3. Now it crashes importing sheet music too

Great app if you only play with yourself

Soniknoise

“Synchronize” feature just plain does NOT work. Look elsewhere (and please tell me if you find something) if you want multiple people to be able to share and maintain a collaborative library.

Great App for Guitar

MikeW52

I have been very happy with the OnSong app. I have used it for 2 years and have loaded it with all my songs. It’s a great way to keep everything together including tabs, notes, etc. I use a Stomp page turn pedal with it and it works great. I have recently added the BeatBuddy drum pedal and have OnSong issuing the midi commands to set the song, bpm, and time signature. It works great and I have the midi commands on 70 songs now. I have never had any issues with stability or needed to reload from a backup. This is a very comprehensive and well designed product. Thanks to the developers for a great app!

On my dock for 10 years

I’ve used it from the beginning. Best music app ever. Classy move grandfathering existing paid users. It’s been on my dock since about a week after I downloaded it.
