P-PS, Vet-Tran still has not updated this app. It’s getting worse and worse. I am aware of the other app namely note plus x. I payed for this one. If your intention is not to update this app why not at least converge them and make the extra features in-app purchases.

Used to be an excellent app. If you purchase this now, you will not be able to use it. The developer has designed it so that when you open “Notes Plus” it is rendered nonfunctional by an ad to upgrade to “Notes Plus X.” You cannot get rid of the ad and it completely prevents use of the original app until you pay a further ransom to upgrade to “Notes Plus X.” This is robbery.

I can't believe that apple nor V Tran were brave enough to punish those of us who had ALREADY PURCHASED his note taking app & were not about tompay double -- much less ANYTHING-- On what should have been given in the form of periodical updats. This is IDIOTIC.

Can we get some updated planner

5 stars once I get a 2021 2022 planner. I know the apps been updated all year but no updated yearly planner.

Saved me incalculable time and money

My work involves countless pages of note-taking and I segregate different clients into their own notebooks, so prior to the introduction of the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, my everyday bag was crammed full of paper notebooks because I routinely need these notes in the field/on-site. When I first decided to migrate to electronic notes, I bought and tested every app I could find before settling on Notes Plus. It was stable, intuitive, and did everything I wanted it to do exceptionally well. There were a few minor nitpicks, but overall it was phenomenal. I don't know know how many $8 notebooks I haven't had to buy in the last four years because of this app and I literally don't know what I would have had to do in order to deal with the expanding number of clients and jobs I need to have information handy for, they physically would not fit in my laptop bag now. Thank you for a fantastic product and I hope that it continues to be supported for years to come!

It is sad to say stay away from this developer! But Viet Tran has disappointed everyone that bought this application abandoned this project to rebrand to NOTE PLUS X and will need to repurchase. So save your money and don’t bother with this developer better applications out there.

I have been using this app for 5 years to keep my handwritten personal journal. Twice a year I save to pdf and covert to text to have a searchable version. Conversion accuracy is about 85%. Very handy. I also use it for research notes and short stories. Handwriting is quicker and more creative than typing for me so I get the best of both the old and new worlds.

Overall I love the app but it's buggy... Sometimes when I open one book a different one opens. I password lock a folder, it turns out they all have the same password. I've tried uninstalling - restarting etc. and it's the same buggy, buggy program. I hate writing this review because the developer has been great but I have to warn anyone who is a writer to consider something different. MrJeuqe. Update. I used the program for years writing a very personal journal along with work and other writings. I thought they where all safe until recently I opened the app and found all my material, years of writing all gone and no way to retrieve them I’m so disappointed I don’t know what to do.

I have used this app since its introduction 10 years ago. It is brilliant, easy to use and astonishingly powerful. Over the years I have taken a significant volume of notes of varying complexity. Glad to pay for the upgrade. Please make it as good.
