Can’t chose pen only in zoom mode. If you have a large writable area, your hand won’t be in the palm rejection area and the writing zone bounces around as your knuckles move across the writable area. Needs a pen only mode within the zoomed area

Amaong all note-taking apps Notes Plus offers a wider range of features and adjustment. But when it comes to everyday use, some necessary elements are missed: *latency (besides overall writing latency, sometimes it doesn’t respond to apple pencil till you enter the magnified mode or bring up the palm pad) *there’s no mac version (iCloud sync would be game changing)

Update: It’s funny to see that I’d mentioned bugs in my original super favorable review, because at this point the bugs are actually really disruptive. The team is pretty responsive to initial help requests through the app. But I’ve lost a few documents to the cloud when it tries to automatically sync or backup and use across devices. The last update says it’s fixed, but it’s not. And unfortunately I’ve spent hours trying to recover writing I’ve lost. If you don’t sync, and just backup via iTunes or the regular iCloud iPhone/iPad backup, the app is a solid 4+. The main complaint I have about the app — excluding the horrible backup sync experience — is that there are no line breaks when converting handwriting to text. That would be a very useful feature for those who like to write longhand and share with type. But the handwriting recognition is top notch, even for fairly poor penmanship. And it recognizes cursive, too! I love this app, but only use it if you’re committed to backing up your documents immediately after creating them in a place other than iCloud backup. I don’t trust the app anymore after my losses in the past two updates. Original Review: Great for journaling, writing music and taking notes. I'd say this is the app to get. The handwriting renders beautifully — as if you were writing with your favorite pen, The handwriting recognition is great (an in-app purchase) and recognizes cursive, as well. Though I've had a few technical issues over the few months in which I've used the app, the support team has been responsive and every issue was addressed in the next update on the app store!

I was really excited when I first saw this app- the handwriting looked great and I was impressed with what I saw. But then I started playing with it and was disappointed. 1- I cant copy and paste between apps. I use Omnifocus and want to paste actions from a note I’m taking in a meeting (for example) to my inbox. Nope. I managed with one but no matter how many times I copied something new, it kept pasting the old text. You also can’t paste from an external app to notes plus. What a bummer. 2-The app isn’t optimized for iOS 11 3- interface requires a lot of tapping to get things done. I found it clunky. 4- I didn’t find much on line to support the app. There’s a link in the manual (or someplace) that it supposed to take you to a support sight but it’s a deadlink. I really want to love this app and hope that they have a new and improved version soon. Otherwise I will go back to good notes or one note (ugh)

This app worked amazing for use with my everyday life and as a digital lab notebook at my job however for the past month (ever since the iOS update) it has been glitchy. Asking for a password every time I open the app scree when I’ve never set one up as well as substantial lack of compatibility with backing up the notebooks to Dropbox now. It flat out doesn’t work and they know it as I’ve emailed them numerous times asking about when it will be. After getting my 10 bucks they sure don’t care about staying up to date with an update that they knew was coming. If this would go back to the way it was I’d easily give it 5 stars. Fixed Dropbox issue by Nov 1. Still locking issue and now my notebook randomly drops a page out of the book. Imagine having a Laboratory notebook (which I use it for) where someone ripped THE secret formulation page out. POOF! Gone. Has happened to me more than once... luckily backed up as exported PDF when Dropbox fell out of use. FIX YOUR 10 DOLLAR APP!
Failing!

Was loving this app, until 5 weeks ago. Now, cannot write a sentence without the app skipping and drawing incomplete letters. Yes, changed pencil tip; yes, changed screen protector; yes, restarted iPad! Very dissapointed, back to Apple NotesI suppose.
iOS 11 sync problem with Dropbox was fixed

Problem with Dropbox sync was fixed. I am hoping it will soon sync with other cloud accounts. Very versatile, works great with Apple pencil. The go-to app for markup on Adobe docs.
Have looked at numerous notes apps this is by far the best total package

Combines all the features I was looking for. It’s starting to reach one note and Evernote levels, but has features neither one of those two do. Looking forward to where they go next! Keep up the good work!
