Terrible syncing

I highly do not recommend this app if you want to sync it across multiple devices. In order to access a note on my iPhone, i have to export it from my iPad into dropbox and then import it into my iPhone, and it only shows up as a PDF. There is no easy iCloud way which automatically updates and syncs, and if there is then there is no clear instruction of how to do that. Furthermore, there is no customer service phone number or email that i have seen, and the one email that i did see ( as a reply to another review here) when i went to email it, it was invalid. Improvement highly necessary, especially for the money i paid.
Great app overall, but vital flaws.

This app is really great. It combines all the functionality and fluid writing as all of the popular notes on the market. But they has HUGE flaws. While it’s easy to delete a page from you notes it is impossible to restore your notes or even use a quick undo. Clicking restore on a page will result in that page disappearing all together. I had this issue before but because the pages were not as important. But after a year, they definitely should have fixed this by now. And yet, now I have an important page of notes that I can’t recover. Also, trying to reach out to them to contact them is also extremely difficult. The contact button in the app doesn’t even work. Be careful with trusting putting your notes on this app.
Can’t import PDF Files

Hi, Ever since I updated to IOS 11.3 I CANT import pdf files anymore. Please fix. I use this app on the daily basis. An amazing app. I wish the creator would make an improve version or just something new in 2018.

Update : I changed my review because I am beyond frustrated right now . I have the app on automatic backup every two minutes, even so the app has deleted whole pages of my notebook . I’ll write a page , scroll down and then when I come back the page is gone . This has happened to pages I am writing via hand and it has happened consistently where it deletes any text I copy and paste and highlight etc . I am so incredibly irritated and annoyed right now and done . This is the fifth time this has happened and it is unacceptable . I make sure I keep the app updated and I gave it a chance but I can not keep having whole pages I just spent like ten minutes working on just disappear. If it was a free application , ok but it’s not ! I am leaving the two stars for the writing experience which is is still good but if what I write is liable to just disappear it does not matter. This app has a steep learning curve so I am still working on learning all there is . It is not a simple app. I like the multi level filing system but I do wish I could customize covers for my notebooks . I’m in a lot of classes and it would make it much easier if I could have customized notebook cover for quick visual reference . Other than that I am fairly happy with the application as of now and will leave another review as i learn more about how to use all the features available . Also I would really really like the option to see two pages of my notebook in landscape mode . Maybe there is a way to do this and I have not figured it out but as of now this is frustrating me because I love landscape mode but hate that my page becomes so short and only part of it visible .

Writing is silky smooth and a variety of nibs produce beautiful hand writing notes. For the purpose that I use it which is writing notes to myself in order to keep track of of what I am doing every day and keeping a log, it is the best app that I have tested and the only one I use.
Too many bugs to be useful

App is not ready for regular users. Loses handwriting and sketches for no apparent reason. Lots of good ideas but poorly implemented. For the developer: I use an iPad Pro + apple pen. For some reason, writing ABOVE other text sometimes deletes text or sketches further below in the same document. Undo/redo is very unreliable and often does not work. Once handwriting has been recognized and edited, original handwriting can no longer be brought back to look at, e.g., to correct recognition errors.

I am amazed. I have taken four pages of notes, and the OCR is almost perfect! My notes will now be searchable! I’ve tried several note taking apps, but this is the best by leaps and bounds. Well worth the spend! Highly recommended...

I was looking for an alternative application to Nebo that I have been using for a while. The reason for my search was to have a more flexible layout editing and better organization of my notes. I was also not very pleased with the palm rejection performance of Nebo, specially when you were writing close to the edge of the screen. After reading the description and a few user comments I have purchased this app. 1- The hardware I am using is an Apple iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. The app fails the follow my handwriting and it is far slower as compared to Nebo. My handwriting is bad, and with this app, it got even worse. 2- Although it does a good job in recognizing my handwriting and converting it into text, it throws it to a separate window? I wonder why text conversion does not replace the original hand writing by default. I ranked this mainly according to the slow hand writing response because it was the sole purpose of my purchase.
