Favorites delete if not enough space when downloading a movie!

Pass don't buy

Now with IOS 11 Favorites are deleting every other day! NJT fix your app to protect saved favorites! 1 year ago wrote Was about to catch a bus. Decided to download a movie before leaving home. Checked my favorite list for bus time. Bus in 15 min! Ok let me download movie. Selected and hit download.. Sat for a few seconds and come back with error. Not enough room on device. Selected ok... Went to check favorites to see about bus and ALL my favorite were gone! Ran to bus once on added 2 routes to list. Then tried download movie again. Same error checked favorites and again they were gone! App developer rewrite to protect favorites.

When I first installed this app I thought it would be my oracle for understanding all things NJ Transit related. Instead of an oracle, it's more of a Magic 8 Ball. Everytime I tried to use it to figure out a bus route and stop, it would give me a different answer—like, within seconds of each other—all of which were meaningless. You've heard of "word salad?" Well this app is bus route salad. From what I've read in other reviews, it does the same for train schedules. What I *did* use it for was buying e-tickets and skipping the lines. And it worked pretty reliably for that—until it didn't. There were a few times when I wasn't sure it was going to activate a ticket before the bus left, but usually, even if I had only one bar of signal it would pull through and activate the e-ticket. Then one sunny day, with plenty of bars on the signal meter, it kept telling me it couldn't activate the ticket and to please try again. After several "try agains" without success, I forced quit the app to try a fresh start. Then it wouldn't let me login to my account, so I couldn't even see my ticket. In the end I not only missed my bus, but had to spend another $8 for a paper ticket. This was clearly the fault of NJ Transit's backend system, because my phone had plenty of bars and I was getting the usual notification storm from the internet. This app is now off my phone, replaced by a tried and true, paper-based monthly pass. Save yourself some angst and frustration and do the same.


Totally unreliable for buses, worse all the time

Buses that you are tracking disappear from this system partway through their routes all the time. Some buses that exist never get tracked. It used to be reliable but now it's basically so hit or miss that it's useless. Bus 89 tracking in particular is unreliable.


Works great on my iphone 6S Plus ios 10.3.3

Works great with purchasing, schedules and fares on my iPhone 6S Plus running ios 10.3.3. Seems to perfectly emulate the Jersey Transit website if you are used to using that portal.


Can’t Use No Place T o Enter CVC

I love it sooo much I hate it.

My credit card carrier requires CVC when making mobile charges. This app has no place to enter CVC. Carrier will reject charges.

None of the favorites work or transferred. When you try to click a favorite the app freezes and if you try to make something new a "favorite" it tells you you've reached maximum WHEN IT SAYS YOU HAVE ZERO FAVORITES. I use this app for commuting, so searching every morning and afternoon is tireless and endless. It feels like someone hired a middle schooler to build an app for over 1million riders. Cool. This is just the cherry on top after all the fails of the past year. JUST FIX THE APP PLEASE!!!!

Favorites functionality doesn't work

Favorites function does not resolve. It's broken. After creating a favorite route the schedule fails to load. This is a known bug. Pleas enter into Jira.


Works but buggy

The favorites feature just doesn’t work in OS 11. Also annoying that no matter what, when I open the app it goes right to the ticket. I understand that this may be convenient at some moments, but if you just want to check the schedule it’s a pain.

I've been using and reviewing apps since the beginning of the App Store. This is the worst app ever. The ui is terrible. The functionality is misleading and counterintuitive. I paid for tickets but didn’t get them because the app got stuck.
