I purchased my Rogue and downloaded the app only to find out the only “Free” option is to lock and unlock my car. I want to be able to start my car remotely using the app and not have to go to the door to do it. I talked to customer service today and I was told I have to purchase a subscription $8 monthly! You have to be kidding me? This is my first brand purchase and my previous cars (Buick & GMC) I never had to pay a monthly subscription In order to use the app features. However, after reading these reviews Nissan has a lot of work to do to clear the issues up and I really wish you WOULD NOT charge $8 to remote start your car. I really could care less about the ridiculous “other” features you added. I live in Michigan it snows! Geez stop all the crazy charges.

Major connection issues. Works about 25% of the time. When it does work can take two to three minutes to connect. It would be a great app if it worked. From reading other reviews it appears this has been a long standing issue. Curious as to why Nissan hasn’t attempted to improve the app.

I tried to be patient and work with customer service, but this app is horrible. It only works 2% of the time. Not worth the money for a subscription.

Yes. Works as well as a 1972 Renault 5. Unless it’s cold outside. Then worse. How can an app work less well in the cold? Download this app ( multiple times) and find out.

As of recent it has began to fail at all attempts to do anything on both me and my wife’s phones. Waste of money.


App is so inconsistent....terrible

The app doesn’t work half the time. Sometimes it tells me my password is invalid and if I try to reset the password then it doesn’t recognize my email even though I have had the app for two years.....terrible.


Nissan connected services hardly ever works junk

I’ve been on the phone with engineers desk jockeys’ etc! Had the car 3 months now only worked 2x ! I have owned dodge,Chevy & bmw never had issues with these type of services. Oh yeah and if you happened to buy your car as used and the previous owner subscribed to the service or used the trial that means you the new owner lose out you don’t even get a free trial! Nothing Don’t waste your time or money the Nissan connect don’t work and there bs customer is useless,The only thing there good for is taking your money!!!! Very Very Disappointing! 2017 Altima sl
