I can never get the thermostat to stay where I put it.

The app has multiple problems and keeps having issues streaming my cameras. If I log in on a desktop my cameras stream fine.

First off, account migration has been a nightmare and google doesn’t allow Nest Works so all my auxiliary control is lost. Literally taking features away years after I bought the unit. 1 star is only the beginning, I plan rip the unit off the wall and sell it to the next sucker who didn’t realize this hostile takeover.

We have had the google nest thermostat for about a year. It worked well initially. However now when we try to have google communicate to the thermostat it says it hasn’t been set up. Well lots of luck resetting it. Nobody to talk to, instructions are worthless, thermostat does not connect to settings. Completely frustrating!

App is terrible

I used to love the Nest app. But ever since Google took over, the app freezes whenever I try to view my cameras. And forget trying to scroll back to earlier in the day. It just freezes and crashes every single time. The app is useless.

Stop taking features away!Do not like the updates. I don’t always want the camera light on. I want to be able to turn it off on some cameras. Put the light switch back please. Also, now I can’t scrub the video forward or backwards looking for when an event actually started. And then, there’s times I get a notification that a “person” has been spotted, but when I check video, it’s a cat in the yard, or it’s the fan that’s oscillating, geesh. If a feature can’t be accurate then it needs fixed or removed. To improve is the goal of an update right? y'all keep changing the "how it works" not improving on speed or ease of use. I'm paying too much hard earned money on a service that keeps degrading.

Nest Aware is terrible. It doesn’t work. I renewed my subscription in June 2020. Three months ago I lost all services with nest aware and support has NOT helped. I keep getting “escalated “ which means no help. Very disappointed and ready to purchase another option!

It’s buggy and awful id return the nest if it didn’t come with my house. It doesn’t connect or work with bluetooth

All of a sudden nest guard won’t connect no matter what. Ongoing problems with google products. They recently announced that they have discontinued it, but will continue to support current owners. Will never buy another google product. Is google deliberately bricking nest guard? Also, no support whatsoever from google. Attempting to reach google by chat goes nowhere, “try again later.” Multiple calls to google without any real help. They said they are going to replace the device but they kept sending me a link to order the wrong product. Horrendous service from google.

However, it drives me nuts when I adjust the temperature up or down and it changes it back to what it thinks it should be.
