I purchased pro version for app before. But now I cannot restore my purchase
Bought the Pro Version and would not connect

First off , support is horrible. If there is no customer support, stay away. The app is nicely designed but would not connect. I tried everything under the troubleshooting process to no avail. It could not find my phone. Again if there is no customer support to help you, it’s plainly bad business.
Almost works...but not ready to recommend

Paid version: Works fine until you leave the premises and return to your computer then next day. Won’t rescan. Can’t troubleshoot Bluetooth. It won’t find the device. My first mistake: purchasing this without seeing it hasn’t been updated in a year. Terrible support: wrote them a week ago with no response. Have read that’s how support is with these guys. Good idea in concept. Bad execution.

Well the setup was confusing but after I found the app for my Mac by way of web search since it's not in the Mac app store. I installed the thing and we'll more confusion after having it to sync. It worked for 5 minutes. ?

It’s pretty good. It doesn’t work in the background and you can’t manually lock/unlock your Mac if your not under the same Wi-Fi. It’s a pretty cool little trick, but it’s not worth the 4 bucks. Also what the heck is “knocking”? EDIT: I am slowly beginning to increase my dislike for this app as I spend more time using it. It is incredibly finicky and only reliable if it is both synced and used within a small range of both time and distance. I cannot close my MacBook without re-establishing a connection, I cannot leave my house, I cannot open more than roughly 2 other apps on my phone, etc. If there isn’t a connection then I can lock/unlock my Mac manually unless Ive recently been in the room. This app was not worth the money. But it’s still pretty cool.

Dev reports that the “Sleep” function works but not “Screensaver” at this time. He’s working to correct this in the next update.

The app disconnect all the time. I have to enter the password on MacBook air and searching the iPhone on the application.
Not a consistent App

This App has been coded from the ground up very well from a GUI vantage point. Where it fails is consistently doing what it’s advertised to do, Unlock your Mac with Near Lock’s iPhone App. On my Mac I opened Sys Preferences/Security & Privacy/Firewall and added “Near Lock in Firewall, still no improvement. For the Near Lock developers it needs to be back to the grind of your drawing board to fix “ALL THE INCONSISTENCIES” of your App ASAP...

This app is amazing! And works great. But there seems to never be any new updates and there the app looks wonky on my iPhone X. Other then that, I highly recommend this app, a lot you can do even without the premium version!
