Beautiful but has a way to go

If the pro version of the app worked 75% of the time I'd be a lot happier. Very sexy visually. Definitely room for improvement.

The convenience of having my computer open and lock whenever I'm near it or not here it is tremendous.

Worked better before the update

Everything was going great, then the app update. Computer doesn't unlock, laptop continuously scanning for phone. Lots of new features, but the one thing it's suppose to do, not doing.

I have come to depend on this app to keep my computers secure, but it stopped working correctly when I updated both the app and the client on the Mac. Now I have to unlock the phone and switch to the app before it will unlock the computer. I paid the fine to upgrade to pro so I wouldn't have to do that, but after the update it's as though it doesn't know I purchased the upgrade. EDIT I had to remove and reinstall the app to make it work again. It works now.

After the update, all the issues were fixed and has amazing features. Definitely recommend to anyone who leaves their computer.

So much potential. Some features work, some don't. Reliability is terrible. If it worked as intended with 99% success rate, this would be a hit. Wish I had saved my money for the wireless in app purchase.

I just installed this and it worked fine a few times, but then I had left the focus on outlook and after unlocking the screen, this proceeded to delete all email. I'm not sure how this would behave if the focus was on some other app, but his is inherently unsafe. DO NOT USE!

I've been using Nearlock for quite a while now. When it first came out it worked flawlessly. Then apple changes some things with their iPhone Bluetooth stack and broke it. (They broke a lot of things with that update!) While it was "fixed", it has never been the same since. Now, even with the latest update, every morning when I open the lid on my MBP, the icon is clear (not connected). I then have to open the app on my phone and click scan to get the MBP and phone to sync up. Sometimes I have to restart Bluetooth on both first. I have to do this several times a day in fact. And as another reviewer mentioned, it's becoming not worth the effort anymore. Is there a fix in sight?

Really well made! Beautiful design and easy setup process. I've got a co-worker that likes to prey on unlocked machines, so the pro version is a great deal.
