App is so so

JPG&rinGO

It’s a pretty basic app. But the messages that Zio sends can’t be read because they disappear when you click on them. Surely this corporation must be aware that they have a glitch happening with messaging. Why don’t they fix it? My other issue is that they don’t provide enough characters to adequately describe a symptom. This is the patient’s opportunity to convey important information to the doctor that could be helpful in making an accurate diagnosis. So why limit it to 75 characters? I mean really, even Trump gets 140 characters for his ridiculous Tweets. Why do we only get half that for something important like our hearts?

Easy Peasy!

I was a bit reluctant to use this app in light of so many poor reviews. I have had zero problems and it’s SO much easier than writing in the booklet. My phone is always with me but I wouldn’t enjoy carrying pen and paper all the time. I’m using an iPhone X, maybe it doesn’t work as well with android? I only know if you have a newer iPhone it works really well. No problem with messages disappearing. Registration is simple. The number you’ll need to enter is right on the box. Go for it! :)

No good

Ocaoivorew

Opens, crashes, opens, crashes. So much fun. Why don’t you make something that works ? I though this review was for the app. It gets a 2 for the patch. It says you can shower- no , it falls off. You can’t do anything active that might really benefit the md cause if you sweat, it falls off, or if you taped it on with HE tape, it stays on but starts flashing. I managed two weeks but I could barely stand myself. So you come here for report and it does nothing but open and crash. Works about as good as the patch

App is pathetic. Don’t bother as it’s so lame. Writing in the book is easier

Frustrating

It stayed on about a day then I took a shower and it fell off. I dried it and my skin and re applied. Fell off again after a few hours. I called support they just said re apply it. I have multiple times. They need better glue. Something like they put on EKG tabs. You need a jackhammer and crow bar to get those off!! This, a little moisture and it falls off. I vacuumed....falls off. I probably won’t get a good reading and they’ll say I have to it again.

Before you tap on your Zio messages to read them...

Know that they are deleted when you tap. And you will not know what they said . The only way to read them is to see the fine print within the message box that says, “read more.” Then, tapping there, I gather, you can read them. I have no idea what mine said. A badge with the number 5 appeared on my Zio app icon. Had no idea what that was for, until finally I found Messages. Some I’d read, but not the last. When I tapped it though, it was deleted. It started with, “We have received your...” and I assume they got my patch, but there was more. Who knows what it was. Tapping on a message will not open it. It will delete the message. If the app is updated, that would be something to look at. A lot of folks with heart conditions, like me, are older, not as tech savvy and will not take for granted things a younger crowd will.

My Zio app

Downloaded this app in connection to a heart monitor I was prescribed. The app is plagued by bugs and virtually useless. Don't waste your time and record any symptoms you may experience on the booklet provided with the heart monitor.

Second time no better

Commands do not respond. Had to resort to manual writing in diary.

Haven’t fixed complaints from over a year ago?

BewareofMommabear

I am surprised to see people rating the patch here. A review on the App Store should be for the.... app? I see that people complained about the messages being deleted when you tap on them over a year ago. The problem has still not been fixed!!! I was told by a support agent that no urgent messages will be sent via the app - basically they’re just useless messages anyway (my own words, not the company’s words :D). Things like reminders to log symptoms and “congratulations, you logged a symptom”, etc. Regarding the patch, no it does not stay on. You need to use medical tape to keep it on. That is unless you don’t sweat, don’t move around much, and don’t shower for 2 weeks. I am also disappointed to find out from reviews here that the info is only retrieved/seen once the device is sent back. That’s not what my doctors office told me.

Rating is for the app not the patch itself

Ho327

This review is for the app not the patch. I had no problems with the patch. The app however worked fine but my issue is with the messages. I would receive messages and as soon as I clicked on it, they would delete. So I have no idea of knowing what it said.
