Completely unable to sign up/log in

This seems like a great concept as it would’ve made recording events much easier. Unfortunately each time I attempted to sign up using the unique number assigned to my device I was met with an error message stating something like, my “provider had not registered” the device; however, my provider assured me that was not the case. Hopefully this issue can be fixed for future users.

Limited and disappointing

FAQs are directed at certain population and don’t apply to everyone. You are supposed to push a button on the Zio device which is attached to your chest at the moment you experience any symptom such as pounding, or skipping heart beats. Then you open the MyZio app and log the time, symptom, severity. Before you’re given a chance to describe your activities (resting, walking, etc) when the symptom began you MUST say how LONG the symptom lasted! Such as <a minute, >10 minutes, > an hour. So you’re forced to lie/guess about the duration, IF you enter info at time of the event when it’s fresh in your mind. Or later you can sit down with the app at end of day and try to recall details of all of your events accurately log their duration later on. I would stink at that. Or you must separately write down, on paper every symptom, time button was pushed, description, severity rating, and how long it lasted. Then transfer it all into the MyZio app later which can be very time consuming. If like me, you prefer to log immediately upon pressing the event button, when the sensations are fresh in your mind, you have no idea how long it’s going to last, so you must guess. No going back to alter answers to make them accurate. It would be helpful if you could go back into the app, open up where you entered the times, symptoms, descriptions and activities as these were occurring and complete the log by adding the durations of symptoms when that is actually known to you. Also, the Zio patch falls off very often during two weeks if you sweat at all. Mine came off at least 10 times. I had to put large bandaids and Nextcare waterproof bandages over the Zio patch to keep it on. Fair amount of skin irritation occurred. After the two weeks of wearing and recording my symptoms, I expected a nice report or an interpretation of the arrhythmia to appear on my MyZio app or my MyChart but I received nothing. When you give blood you get to see the results, when you get an X-ray, you get a radiologist’s interpretive report. When you spend 2 weeks wearing Zio and carefully entering information into the app, you get nothing tangible. Just a brief simplistic observation by the cardiologist in your next appointment. (“You’re doing a little better but you still have a fair amount of events,” which you could have told your doctor yourself.) So if the “My” in the name “MyZio” refers to the “patient,” then the app is misnamed. Perhaps it should be called YourDoctorsZio app.

Nothing but problems

Registration not recognized Login information not accepted Broken link on password reset When I attempted to register, I verified both entries, but the system delivered error report when I attempted to sign in. When I requested a password reset, I was sent to a broken link. Unable to use, unable to reset.

Data loss!

Terrible app. Incompatible with iOS keychain, and three events I logged yesterday are completely missing today!

Works well

After reading some of the reviews, I’m confused as to why so many are unhappy with the app. It is easy to use. When the event starts, put in your info about the event and hit save. When it is over, return to the event log, choose the event, edit, and update the time slider. Easy. Much easier than a manual log - which is your alternative if you wish. By the way device was well taped on by my provider and I’ve had no issues with it.

Needs bug fixed

I am wearing my third Zio patch. It is MUCH more convenient to record symptoms on my phone than it is to carry around a log book, but the app doesn’t allow you to update to a new serial number. The app is only good once, even though it shows the screen where you SHOULD be able to edit, it doesn’t work.

Easy to use

Nowhere does it say how long to keep it on. Too many nicknames taken after trying lots. They all can’t be taken.

App lost my data

DownDope

I’m very upset and frustrated. The app lost about 29 hours of my log data. Yes , the monitor itself has the raw EKG. But all the time I spent in the middle of the night describing symptoms is wasted. With something so important to users as heart-related healthcare, the company should do better quality control. Lost data should not happen.

New app was easy to work with but needs a bit of improvement. Like the device better that a holter and I can shower!
