Great app for a trash service

This app is essential for bus travel in New York. Compared to the service itself, this app would be like 25 stars compared to the 1 that is the service itself. Don’t get me wrong, it has its benefits, but the MTA service is a very flawed one. The MTA has five problems: there aren’t enough busses, some busses run late / they run on a different schedule, they’re never clean (seriously one bus I was on smelt like someone’s sphincter exploded all over the floor!), some drivers have a serious attitude problem (this one is rare but it depends on your bus), and this service is way too expensive for what you get in return ($2.75 per ride really piles up over time). If you don’t have the app, get it. The only issues I have are that sometimes the time will be inaccurate for a bus while the distance is accurate and sometimes a bus won’t be marked on the map. Seriously, GET IT.

The search function is useless. I tried to type some words but none of them cane out.

It didn’t show the bus coming so I went to the store and missed the bus. It seems like maybe it’s accurate for some buses but not others. It didn’t seem to be accurate for a bus going to Rockaway
Routinely gives wrong or incomplete info

Buses appear and disappear off the list if you close and open the app again. I have missed many buses this way.

Busses show .8 miles away forever and then end up disappearing from the app. Sometimes reliable but it’s absolutely frustrating. I’m writing this while waiting for a B67 that showed was .8 miles away without moving for about 20 minutes. Don’t depend on this if you have a deadline to be somewhere.

Standing at 10th Ave and 18th St. Waiting almost 20 min. According to the sign, it’s every 6 min. According to the app it says “approaching” for 15 minutes solid. Meanwhile, the driver is exactly on time according to HIS schedule, every 20 min! People, get your act together!!
Search engine does not work

The search engine won’t let me type in anything. I can’t see if I am typing anything in. I redownloaded this app like three times and it still won’t let me type anything in. Fix this ASAP ?????
