Great app with great support

Bjust

I've been using this app for YEARS on my iPhone, iPad and now my MacBook. When I got the iPhone 7 last week, I imported everything from my 6 but this was the first time I've ever had a problem with this app. It would crash as soon as I tried to unlock it. I wrote support and they sent me a VERY detailed, personalized reply. I tried their fix but it didn't work. So I replied to that effect and they responded quickly with a second fix. This one worked and all my data is safely stored away in my new iPhone. Thanks for all the help, Spencer!!!!

No Longer Great (Sadly)

Hope'n'change

Update: Not looking forward to the new v5. The current wifi sync and backup options work great for me. I have used this app and its Mac companion apps with great confidence. I will not use their or anyone else's cloud. I understand the need to make a reasonable profit and wish there was another way for the developer to get fairly compensated for this very useful app. Sorry to downgrade it in anticipation of the change. Not confident that this version will remain supported. From 2 years ago: So has this app joined the lamentable iOS7 trend toward form over function, disappearing buttons, weird colors, and excessive blank space? Perhaps, but note that in settings you can largely overcome it by selecting a return to the old color icons. In a significant functional improvement, the new iPad version now puts almost everything on one page with a split screen for individual entry details— a welcome departure from the silly trend toward more page levels and more empty white space. I don't like it that there is no button or other clue for copying an item like the password. You have to guess that tapping the item will copy it. The garish turquoise edit button is almost illegible. The cost for the non-essential new photo/custom icon option, however, is trivial. This is on balance still a great app, and I don't begrudge the developers getting a little more for it through an optional in-app purchase.

Great, easy to use, excellent support

No app whiz here, just an average iPhone user who has way too many passwords, combinations, web log-ins, etc. this has been an easy program to use and no issues when migrating to a new phone. Sync ups have been a breeze. I've had to contact support a couple of times and they have been prompt and complete with their response. I certainly recommend this app.

Just what I was looking for... until now

Update 4/25/17: mSeven used to be the "good guys." They put out a no-nonsense tool with the right feature set for a reasonable, fixed price. Users had a choice of backup options. Sync just worked over Wifi. No need for subscriptions, cloud servers, user accounts or other unwanted baggage. I said in my review below that I hoped mSeven never "sold out." Well, it took a long time, but sadly that time has arrived. With the new version, you'll have to create an account with them and upload all of your passwords to their server in order to sync across your devices. It appears the flexible backup options are also being removed or severely restricted. All while being charged again for the privilege. There is now nothing separating mSecure from the other tools in this space. Bummer. Let's hope another company with integrity moves in to fill the void left by this "upgrade". I was able to import 200+ passwords from another program that I used on my Palm device in a just a few minutes with no hassle - and no additional cost. Using another vendor's solution would have cost me $30. Many of my accounts require me to change my password periodically, so I am thankful for the password generator function. Passwords sync across all your devices seamlessly. There are flexible options for doing backup and restore, one of which is a free desktop app. It could not be any simpler. Great product at a fair price. No annual "subscription" fee nonsense. I hope these guys don't sell out.

They took my money

MosaFento

They took my money from me two months ago, promising me a product in March. Then they silently updated their blog post to say April. Then they said mid-April. Then they said 24th April. Then they said, this week for sure. Nothing yet. -- They took my money from me two months ago, telling me it was early pricing discounts for loyal customers. Then they announced the same price for new customers as well, even though they have kept my money for two months now. No release yet.

Pay now, get app some time in future!

Unbalanced

The new.version was to be out in March, so I bought it (after purchasing the current version). But now that they have our money, they say forget about March. Look to April. Now in the middle of April there is no word on when it will available. VAPORWARE??? and is it true that syncing must now be.to THEIR cloud? Getting mad. UPDATE: Promised for mid-April. Now we're at the end of April and still no word from mSecure. Why not tell us the truth? COME CLEAN!

Use this app multiple times every day

I find it difficult to live without this app on my computer in my phone. I love that I can sync up my passwords. Are use it multiple times a day.

Used to love this app

VWIII

I first bought mSecure six years ago; I had nothing but praise for it. I have a new computer and had a nasty installation problem that required restoring the computer to cure (i.e., uninstall the corrupt version - a simple uninstall would mot do it). I have begged them for help to no avail. Consider me a customer lost for good (and if another reviewer's comments are correct, feel free to keep your cloud too)!

mSecure5 Pre-Order

BUYER BEWARE... Once you have an account with mSecure you'll get an email link to "pre-order" mSecure5 which was said to release "March 2017" I went ahead and paid the $9.99. March 2017 has since past... release date was then changed to mid-April. Then May 1st. I'm done with this scam. Getting my money back will be a fun chore... bunch of thieves! They got me. Don't let them get you!

Pre-order

New release was supposed to come out mid April 2017. Here we are in May and no word on new release and support/Eden will not respond to repeated requests for updated information. Beginning to think the whole "new release" is a scam. At the very least very poor customer service to people who paid in advance for a product that is past due arriving date with no explanation and no response when contacted.
