I should’ve just got a Jeep!!!!!

Why is it that another car company that is in or never has been in competition with the luxurious Mercedes, let alone the amount of funds that I believe they should have ever penny pitching to themselves for them not to endorse in a way more faster hardware to make such as this app work!!!! For the life of us Mercedes users this is seriously unacceptable!!


Doesn’t load

This app doesn’t even load . Crashes immediately. It used to intermittently crash before . Now it’s not even loading on the phone. Keep showing loading and spinning. For a big brand like Mercedes this is totally unacceptable to have an app like this. A college student would have a better app and coding knowledge than the Mercedes app developers.

The app is great. I love being able to start and lock/unlock my car from anywhere. Especially living in the northeast these are awesome features. As of late, the app has been crashing a lot, particularly on the cold days.

Every morning I try to start my car before I walk out the door and EVERY morning it never works. The app opens and works 2 out of 10 times. So frustrating to pay for luxury and the developers can’t even get a simple thing like remote start to work.


2020 GLE App is Useless

Have had brand new 2020 GLE 450 for 3.5 months now. App works about 30% of the time. When it works, all I can do is lock/unlock and remote start for 10 minutes (not nearly long enough to actually warm the car/engine). 70% of the time the app is unresponsive, says I have to ‘retry’ to connect (and it just sits there never actually entering the application), or simply doesn’t load at all. Most days, I’m at home with either my high speed WiFi or a full cell signal so its not a connectivity issue. MB cheaped out on their app development outsourcing. I’d fire whomever was in charge of app development and hire a real technology/software pro to manage that part of the business. Quite a failure for the luxury brand.

I’ve had problems with this app since leasing a brand new 2019 for my wife last year..Been there and have done that with the Mercedes Connect app folks and have not had resolution. Just today I contacted my dealer voicing my frustration about not being able to remote start the vehicle. Nothing but consistently spinning and spinning and told to try again later. What a joke! Other vehicle OEMs not only offer an app, but also a remote start fob.. Mercedes only has this app, that does not work. Very disappointing when your paying top dollar for a high level vehicle. You would expect to have no problems...Come on Mercedes Benz! Get this app right and working without issue....

Ridiculous to spend this much on a car and would have been better off buying a Ford, at least it would be warm for me in the winter. Remote start works 1 out of 10 times.


Always broken

Last week. Completely down for 2 days. Got a call from Mercedes apologizing. It was down for maintenance. All is well. Well not. It is down once again for a weekend I am sure. This app needs to be scrapped. It is down or does not work 50% of the time. Really need to get it together. It’s Mercedes for God’s sake. It’s embarrassing.


Works for my 2019 CLA

Purchased a 2019 CLA last week and downloaded the app a couple of days later. After signing in, services didn’t show up on dashboard—assumed the app was malfunctioning due to endless negative reviews. Turns out, it takes several days from downloading the app and registering for it to function—requires activation on their end.
