Wish i just had keyfob remote start

There is nothing better then paying $150k+ for a car and have the remote start function work maybe 10% of the time. Mercedes apply some of that fine German engineering to your code as well. This app is literally the worst app on my phone, please read the reviews and address some of these issues.

Worst app I have ever used!

Seriously? You call this app that can somehow control your car? I can not believe Mercedes has this garbage app and they do nothing to fix it for a long time. They for sure see the reviews and they for sure know the problems this app has, so why do nothing? Nowadays, apps that control the car is very important and super convenient when it works. Look at Tesla, their app and software in general works flawlessly and that’s their major selling point. Well unfortunately, Mercedes knows about this and they take years to come up with the app that actually works. ???

Cannot Send Address to Vehicle- Annoying

Since the last update I have not been able to send an address to my 2019 GLE400. It gives the error message “Unable to send address to vehicle.” Granted I can type in the address from within the car but it sure is more convenient and faster to send from my phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and done other trouble shooting with no success. I’ve also received messages stating the vehicle was unlocked or a door/trunk was opened when it clearly was not. I didn’t have this problem until the latest update. PLEASE fix this issue. I looooovvvveeee my car but the app is not “The Best or nothing.”

When I first started using this app with my 2019 one year ago I thought it was great. Seemed to work fine except a little slow with the auto start. In the last week I have had several alerts that my starter battery was low, and to drive the car for at least 30 minutes, which I did, about 6 times and still getting alert! Even worse I have received 4 alerts in the last 24 hrs that my car was unlocked and a door was open. I obviously panicked at first that someone was breaking into my car, causing me to leave my office and run into the parking lot to find my car perfectly fine and locked. After reading all the similar reviews I feel like an idiot for that. Horrible app simply because it can’t be trusted! Fix the app and do not send me a message to contact you directly!

Great job. You’re back at it with making the app unreliable when it’s needed most in the Northeast. I hope you’re not using the same development team as the other app.

Massive performance issues

This app team is experiencing massive performance issues. As a fellow developer please check your app start time, and create a custom metric for “time to start” the app is painful to use (if you can get it to work) and as someone who wants to remote start my car with the app being my only option winter mornings are especially pivotal for this app to work.

Never Buying Benz for their Tech

This is totally disappointing, the main reason for going with new Benz is for their convenience in remote climate control , it is just not working in winter, when it is needed. I should have bought a Tesla, big mistake.

I would award negative stars if possible. Essentially unusable. It successfully connects to the car maybe 1 out of 10 times, even when it connects it performs the desired function (remote start for example) very, very infrequently. That the developers at Mercedes chose to push this app out into production is mind boggling to me.

This app is a hit or miss with working. Sometimes the remote start works flawlessly and sometimes it doesn’t work at all. It’s pretty annoying when you remind yourself what kind of car you bought and the terrible app you end up with as your only means of remote starting the vehicle.
