They do not at all monitor prices and do nothing but allow people to over price their items. Example… Hey Dudes. Stuff you can get from their website for around $60 people are selling online over $100. And they are used!!!! Make sure you take advantage of the 3 days you hate to rate someone because after you rate someone you can’t change it, even if it stops working, glitches or has defects. They really need to monitor the pricing of things because it’s getting worse and worse!!

This app has been very helpful meeting the desires of my consumer needs. Responses have been timely and the process is seem less. Would recommend to any others who are trying to find obscure items that generally are no longer accessible through the original producers.

Highly recommend you do not use this app. Aside from an awful user experience, I found the app to be taking much more out of my sales than the percentage they advertise. I’ve confronted them about it multiple times and they’ve just ended the conversation without explanation or assistance. It’s such an extreme difference that an $8 purchase left me with 66cents profit (shipping paid for by buyer). That math does not check out. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Canceling my account as they’ve now stolen upwards of $50 dollars over 4 or so sales.

I am a 5 star seller from 2015. A lot has changed. Good thing is that the scammers will get immediately blocked if they comment negative reviews or messages. But the AMOUNT of scammers on in 2021 is ridiculous. But imagine being that dumb and seeing that an "Apple Macbook" is actually a "Thinkpad" ??? THIS APP IS SKETCHY ?

I have been on this app for years and I didn’t have an issue until now. I made a purchase and the product was not what was in the picture. I contacted customer service for my money back as the product was not as described and I even offered to send the product back and Mercari still didn’t give me a refund but they did release funds to the person that sold me the wrong product. They gave me a credit but I didn’t want anything else on the site and I asked TWICE for my money back but they still gave me a credit. Not only that but the credit had an expiration date smh. I am not happy with how this was handled on my behalf, please work on better customer service. Thank you!

How do I block a seller so that I am not seeing their wares? They repost the same ugly photos in a tag every single day- from what I am sure is two different accounts. I don’t care that they’re there; I just don’t want to have to know they exist. App is otherwise great, from a buyer’s standpoint.

I had a buyer purchase an item, confirmed with usps that they delivered to the correct address and mercari and the buyer will not release the funds. I’ve been fighting for $9 but this has caused me to NEVER use mercari and I let everyone I know know how terrible this app is and how they don’t care.
