This is my all time favorite app. Constantly have my friends asking about it and when they download it, they use and love it too. So fun to see what they add, and often check out their maps for recommendations!

I cant sign up

thefallenangelbeats

This app looks amazing, and like it would be just for me on my upcoming trips, but I cant even sign up for an account :( every time I try to it gives me the name Bruce and doesn't let me press “done” after choosing my username. I would love to use this, I just don't understand what’s going on with the signup process

Great app but location request not working

museekelly

For a couple years this app has worked great and I love it, but lately it cannot request location from my iPhone, as in it asks for permission but there is not “switch” or “button” to request location in iPhone settings. Seems like a bug? Please fix! Wonderful app.

Wish we could collaborate

Mapstr is great for planning a trip. However, I’m rarely doing that alone. I really wish there was a way for my travel partner and I to add both of our destinations to one map. It would make exploring so much easier.

Finally!

ACHW93

I’ve been looking for a way to organize all the places it want to try rather than just writing them down and forgetting where they are located. I also love that you can share with friends and the tagging system. However, I would like to see it link up to Yelp. Also, is there a way to create multiple maps? Like if I want a map of just restaurants and separate map for shopping?

Amazing but few bugs

NicandJean

Great app, great idea. Still a bit buggy sometimes. When I add some specific restaurant, the app stays stuck on “saving”. For example Osteria Francescana or Arpège don’t work

Maspr instead of gmap to manage my address

Scounche

I’m an avid user of google map. However I can use it anymore as my map become overcrowded from place to go star etc. The user experience of mapsr is grown breaking. I will use gmap to navigate and Mapsr to save places and organize my list. Mapstr is fantastic !

Great when it works, but no support

Rufustfyrfly

Great tool for managing and categorizing places I want to remember. The map marketplace is useless, none of the free or purchaseable maps have anything but obvious tourist destinations on them, but no big deal, I’m here to make my own maps. The big problem is that there is no support. Right now, for example, anytime I log in to the app, I receive an error message stating that Mapstr is currently unable to reach its server, regardless of wifi connection. But if I try to look at how to resolve the issue, there’s nothing. The “Support” link on their website isn’t even a link, it’s just the word “Support” with no hyperlink. So what do I do to troubleshoot or resolve my issue? I guess just write a review, because there don’t seem to be any other options.

Mapping Log Book

WalkinLA

You,ve created a log book and don’t seem to realize it. Many of the reviews are mentioning how the app allows them to store places. There’s no other app that does this purposefully. I collect Sacred Sites around the world with it. Rather than touting tracking friends, I recommend you pitch your app as saving special places, which includes friends, and that refined identity will attract new users. Well done. Most great solutions occur by accident. ?

Great Concept! In it for the long haul.

...and all polished, too! Simple, clean, pleasant-to-the-eye UI—all very important things to me. I’ll be updating this review as needed, because I’m in it for the long haul. A bug: every time I long press to change a tag color, the app crashes. A feature request: Allow official maps to follow to be searched via location? I’d love to follow and discover more places, but most the official maps I saw in the brief time I scrolled through are in France (I am not in France, LOL). Thank you kindly, and best wishes with your development journey, Devs!
