I like to make lists of places to eat and I'll make separate tags for each of my friends so I can remember where they like to eat. Outings with family, fun bike rides or runs, music venues, etc. I love this app and it's been really stable and consistent for me.

Allows me to keep all those addresses handy of places I love going to at home, while keeping tabs on all the new places I want to try when traveling. Just what I was looking for.

This app will come in handy if you're on vacation. You can bookmark locations, tag them, and find how to get there through apple maps. The interface is wonderful and I can't think of anything that needs improvement.

So far, exactly what I need

I’ve tried both Mapstr and Salt, and so far Mapstr is the one doing it for me. It’s intuitive and allows me to browse my picks by tag or by neighborhood. You can even browse by multiple tags - say you want to look up an “italian” and “brunch” spot - you can do that, easily. The only thing I don’t like is the way the restaurants are listed with photos in the “list” view - it’s a bit cluttered. Would prefer just words. But otherwise, this app lets me do exactly what I want to do: find a certain kind of restaurant in a certain neighborhood at anytime.

This app is just what I had in mind! I use it to track locations I want to photograph so when I'm in an area I can ck to see my "don't miss" sites. The only negative so far is the icons on the map can be too large when I have a lot clustered around 1 city.
