Buggy and unreliable on mobile

NewYorkerAtHeart

I use the app on my ipad pro to manage my email list for a small business. Very small, nothing that would unduly tax the app. However I have found that certain functionalities are not available in the app, despite their being advertised as being a functioning part of the app, such as being able to upload and link a file for use by the list. In addition, when editing information inside the app, such as email content, account information, etc, sometimes the Save button is either hidden by other elements or simply disappears, causing information to be lost. The app is also not able to do the same amount of workhorse editing and customizing of text, links, buttons and elements in the emails. This app may function for tweaking an email campaign and sending it, but not much else, and certainly not as a replacement for the website version.

Must have

I don’t write reviews. I just don’t...but I’m writing this one because I downloaded this app yesterday and it has already become super helpful for me for my blog. I didn’t download for some time because of the negative reviews I was reading. All I know is that tho app has solved a major problem for me (ease of tracking campaign and list stats) and given me easy access to some material that will help me with strategy. Well done. I recommend it.

Bring back Snap!!!!

Leilx4

I really preferred the simplicity of MailChimp Snap which also allowed you to modify pictures within the app. The new system, which functions more like the desktop one with templates you can modify is hard to maneuver on the phone. The app does not modify pictures to fit which is a triple annoyance as you have to go find another app that does and save the picture elsewhere and then go back to the app. Plus if it pops up a window, it won’t let you move around to press whatever button it wants so then you are stuck anyway because it won’t do anything. At this point I am almost driven back to the desktop version (which I’m not really excited about the changes there but at least it is easier to navigate). Adding names has also gotten more cumbersome with more steps to get to add. And the constant popup about whether someone gave permission to be added is seriously irritating. I run a very small business with a signup book which is clearly labeled that if you leave an email you will receive emails. I get that there are unscrupulous companies that add people who haven’t but it seems like it should also be smart enough to notice who is adding a few at a time or bulk adds.

Mail Chimp at your Fingertips!

Big Crusher

That’s what this app is “Mail Chimp at your Fingertips”. I have been using this app for over a year with no complaints whatsoever. I use it for a membership. It solved a lot of problems I was having with the previous program I was using for the membership. Haven’t had one problem since I started using Mail Chimp. This app works in conjunction with the online Mail Chimp program and I can do almost everything in the app that I can do online. The “Subscribe” app is a great compliment to this app for adding new subscribers. This Company is terrific!

It’s a little frustrating on IOS

OcAggie

Look I don’t know if it’s me, but every time I try to upload a pdf, the file will fade out not allowing me to select it. I can do it in the desktop version, but for some reason I can’t figure out how to do it in the iOS version.

Love MailChimp!

By far my favorite email management software.

Mobile App

nicholsnewlife

Why, would you take away the mobile app? The snap version made Mail Chimp much easier. I used MailChimp weekly before this change. I don't use it at all now. The new mobile app is clumsy and is very difficult to use. I don't know who made this decision but if you don't fix this I'm done. I can't be the only one who feels this way.

Can't copy paste contact info

Blurb fan

Reason I downloaded the app was to be able to update lists. But can't do something basic like copy and email address (say, from an email) and paste into the contact info). Love Mailchimp but wont be using the app.

Creating a campaign is not so simple.

LC2.0

Trying to create a campaign and edit with text styles, color fonts and more just doesn’t work. If you scroll too low the choices get hidden. There are still a lot of bugs! Even tried editing in the notes app and pasting it back into MailChimp and lost all the text styling so not even a way to work around this.

It doesn’t do anything?

thomasmwarren

Whenever I try to set up a campaign and tap “Edit” to add text and photos to the layout, it says that the frame load was interrupted. I don’t know what that means, and I’ve got emails to send out.
