Consistent issues every single time I use the app. I’ve been trying to edit my campaign all day and it won’t save the changes so I can’t get my Memorial Day Sale sent out.

I’ve been attempting to use MailChimp on my iPad. I say attempting, because I’m rarely able to actually use it. Typing in the text box pulls up the keyboard and covers the text box. Often times I’m presented with a screen holding only my content text with no buttons or functions available on the screen to exit, undo, proceed, save, or otherwise navigate the user interface in any way whatsoever. Then there is the majority of the time when pressing the save button actually just makes my screen blink, but doesn’t save or exit or do anything else that would actually help me to send a newsletter. Of all of the apps I’ve ever used in my life, this has been undoubtedly the most incredibly frustrating one yet. If not for the necessity of sending standardized newsletters to my clients, this app would never be on a device I owned. I’m beyond frustrated, I’m pulling hair and throwing things. In today’s world, I could probably sue MailChimp for the amount of damage caused to my office during this rage quit moment that I was forced to after hours of dealing with MailChimp and their inferior product. Okay. A little dramatic. But the frustration is real.

Great but missing two key functions: add media and edit html. Those missing makes it a bit of a waste, which is frustrating because it has real potential.
Can’t Edit Text Passed a Certain Point

The app is great for getting a snapshot of your lists and campaigns, subscribers etc. The best thing is that you can send email blasts to whichever list you want on the go. The only problem is that you can’t edit text passed a certain point because the screen doesn’t scroll down. I’m using an IPhone X and maybe it’s not fully optimized for the X but the keyboard stays in place and any words lower then the keyboard get covered up by it. You can’t place the cursor...you can’t see where you’re typing. So this kills me sending an email blast. PLEASE FIX!

When you try to edit text in a Campaign, it doesn’t register the changes and doesn’t allow you to scroll down to text farther at the bottom. A huge let down, and useless in a pinch.
If I can’t write emails on the go, what’s the point?

I downloaded this app in hopes that I could sit at an airport and draft my newsletters on the go. When I go to edit my Campaigns, I’m unable to see the area I’m attempting to type in. Seems like a pretty major flaw that I’m surprised hasn’t been reported more often. Could just be an issue on my phone, but disappointed nonetheless.

2 stars purely for the pretty interface. That’s it. As a small business marketing dude, I have to say this thing needs some work. It is 2018 and people are using mobile devices every day to work on their campaigns. The iPad user experience for Mail Chimp is about a camel’s hair width away from being unusable. Tapping the “style” field yields a blank white screen when selecting fonts for titles. Rarely crashes, but wow is it ever hard to do something so stupidly simple as edit a field of text. Want to select the title of the text box and adjust the heading? Good luck with that. Need to upload images for products? Better grab your phone and play clash of clans for a minute because you’re going to be waiting for a while. Frustrated by the keyboard popping up constantly and blocking your view? It’s here! I would dare say it comes across so intentional it might just be a feature to boot! To me, this is what sets an app apart from others as really bad or nearly un-useable. Mail Chimp - get the simple stuff right. I would quit this so quick if my boss did not insist on using it. You are the worst. Seriously- the worst.
